Is anyone else doing the DePalma water park excrusion on Aruba??

We are. Unless our plans change because they changed our times where all 5 of us aren't going at the same time! They changed 2 of us to 11:45 and the other 3 to 12:30 and I'm not sure if that is going to work for our plans (2 of us -one parent/one child- doing seatrek also.. then after that DH going to scuba dive while I take the kids to the waterpark.)
All this might not work out so great if we're arriving, and leaving, and different times.

Wow, I didn't know you could look them up that way. I looked and it says scheduled to arrive 7/25! That's great- I was worried if they showed up after we left that might be an issue- but maybe not if we registered online and printed that out?

Just checked mine, says they are in San Jose delivery expected on Thurs., May have to leave a note on the door for the UPS man to deliver down the street to my work.

You don't actually NEED your docs anymore now that you can print them out online. The only real inconvenience is that you won't have any luggage tags until you get to the port. The porters will have blank ones for you.

I cancelled our Acapulco excursion. I have heard from so many people here at home that Acapulco has really gone down hill. So we may be joining those going to the fort or just play it by ear. Have heard good things about Cartagena! Met a lady over the weekend whose dh flew there Saturday.

Cruise Questions!​

Is anyone bringing 2-radios with them? Wondering how the reception would be with all the metal. Also is anyone bringing extra hangers? I have a bunch of plastic and also cleaner hangers. I seem to remember that there aren't many hangers in the closet.

Oh Coral, it's gotta be the Real Thing or nothin' at all girl! Kevin's on an insulin pump and counts carbs and has gotten to be quite the expert at it actually. Oh before I forget, he wanted me to ask you a question; we always pick up sandwiches from Arby's to eat on the plane and at layovers,is there one fairly close to you that we can stop by before getting to your place?

Rich really wants to do this so we are still on.

Really bad fatal accident this evening on I-4 the same time I was driving home. They locked down the highway to get the medicopter on the road. 18 wheeler vs suv. The front of the 18wheeler was really smashed. Looks like alternate route to work tomorrow as they have to sand down the highway to get rid of the fuel. Called Cheryl to keep me busy.

We are. I think we're on for 11:45a. My DH2B had us scheduled for the 8:30a slot and I pointed out that meant we had to be up, eat breakfast, and get ready to go all by 8:30a! I am soooooo not a morning person! So I changed it.

does it have any personal info on them though? Our neighborhood has been having issues with people taking packages off of door steps, and I now have everything delivered to the school I work at.

If you look on the vallarta tours website, it says

Duration: 3.5 Hours

Includes: Equipment, Helmets

so I think we do. I also think I read a trip report where someone talked about bringing a bandana to wear under the helmet for comfort.

Just a quick update then off to do more paperwork. About 2000 posts ago I mentioned that I was running for board of directors for our Homes Association, well the vote and results were tonight.

Drum roll please......................I was voted in. I REALLY would be o.k if I didn't get it. My Job is consuming my life right now and my plate is about to break !!!

So I will take on this task as with everything else and give it a 100%.

I have not started any lists yet but I am starting to put things together in a spare closet. I feel behind on everything.

At this point we are ready to be on the ship and just SLEEP for 15 days.

Congrats, Tina! I know you will do a wonderful job, even if you do wear yourself out doing it.
