TASK FORCE​

We have 131 cabins on the fish extender list - however - we have enough supplies for (I believe) 200 cabins. SO I figure we'll hit as many as we can plus get ALL of the fish extender cabins. Anyone have a list of ALL the cabins yet?

We'll be conducting our planning for the MEETING aboard ship to distribute supplies and so on the FIRST sea day ..... 30 minutes after the soon to be announced childrens' meet.... at that same place as their meeting. I figure this will allow any of us with kids (who are participating) to not conflict - and also knock off 2 birds with one stone. The only cavet is IF the kids event concludes too close to the time when many of us might need to retire to prefare for dinner and the formal attire of the nite. IE... if the kids event was at 3PM this might end at 4PM and leave us with no time to meet as we should be preparing for dinner! Well.... if the kids' evenrt were set for 3PM then we'd switch and meet at 2PM. This make sense? At any rate, I'll PM everyone again... and the thread on the pirate zone is here....

On our first cruise we had late seating and they put us with a young couple with a baby who was tired, grumpy and threw food everywhere! I felt sorry for the poor servers who had to clear up the mess afterwards. Before we could ask to be shifted following the first meal, they got reassigned to early seating (thank goodness!). We didn't share our table with anyone else.

On our second cruise we got seated with a lovely couple from Texas who had a 6 year old boy. He was a lovely child but usually fell asleep before the end of the meal - it was just too late for him.

We are looking forward to meeting our new tablemates on this cruise

In the past we've been a big enough group to have our own table. The one time we weren't, the other family never showed up so there were three of us on a large table (we ended up doing a "Mad Hatter" most nights, moving around during the course of the evening - 'twas great fun).
But we're also looking forward to meeting new tablemates this time.

I just checked UPS - they HAVE OUR CRUISE DOC'S!!!!!! They are scheduled to be delivered on Friday.

Hi I hope that all of you are doing well!

I got two dresses for my trip tonight, after trying on lots and lots of them. I would like to find stuff for Princess night if not I will go without. Still got lots to do before the trip.

I totally understand the difficulty finding clothing. Everything is always too short for me. Plus pants always fit odd around my hips and waist. Finding swimsuits is torture. I have long narrow feet. I do not like buying clothing and shoes for myself as I have a hard time finding stuff.

I still have to send out the Patch swap PM's. As I need to collect a bit more info. So that I can work on organizing.

Ok, first time I checked got the 'could not locate' message. I took out my zip code and now find one delivered on 7/1 in Homer City, PA. This package started out in Charolette, NC. Anyone know where the docs are sent from? Isn't DCL located in FL?

I'm guessing that mine hasn't left DCL yet. And hopefully the one I saw tracked was a completed unrelated package that ended up with the same reference number.

Just a quick update then off to do more paperwork. About 2000 posts ago I mentioned that I was running for board of directors for our Homes Association, well the vote and results were tonight.

Drum roll please......................I was voted in. I REALLY would be o.k if I didn't get it. My Job is consuming my life right now and my plate is about to break !!!

So I will take on this task as with everything else and give it a 100%.

I have not started any lists yet but I am starting to put things together in a spare closet. I feel behind on everything.

At this point we are ready to be on the ship and just SLEEP for 15 days.

Congrats Tina!!! Are you sure you REALLY want to still do it!!!

Just switched my precruise hotel reservations and saved $160.

Sorry I'm not going to be able to try the Park Place Inn but it always ends up being more expensive than others in the area. When I booked in April, it had the best price. But I'm now at the Camelot which I've stayed at before and really like.

How often do people get seated with other families? On our only other Disney cruise we had our own table for 6 and there were many tables of families of 4. Is it just simply that cruise wasn't full, or is there a magic number?
