Activate it on my phone? The guy said all I needed to do was have him activate it :confused3

When I went to Paris last year I called and got it all set up, supposedly. I tried to make a call in Paris but it wouldn't work. Finally was able to call AT&T and they had me hit a few keys and it finally worked. So you might want to check it out.

Funny I always heard that with a boy, the hormones conflicted with mom's so that is what made it worse! :lmao: Like I said, it's all old wive's tales anyway :)

Like the old wive's tale that its good luck if it rains on the conception day?

Or is that wedding.... :lmao: :lmao:

Yes....good luck for baby. Because if it weren't raining you could have like.......ummmmm.......gone for a bike ride or something.

Last posting before we hit the road....

Alicia and I broke down and ordered the Olympus 850SW today. It should arrive just in time from Willougbys in NY. We got a square deal... not the cheapest but fair for a deal.

The features of this camrea are simply irresistible to me! Shock resistant from 1.5 meters, waterproofed to 3 meters, crush resistant and freeze resistant too! Ours will be black. I just hope it takes decent pictures most of the time. It's been tough finding conclusive and insightful reviews online.

Time to go ....

But isn't it going to be a hassle converting meters to feet all the time?

Yup, Capt. Tony is a real guy. I think it is on Feeding Frenzy that JB rants about the people of KW electing their favorite bartender mayor - that's Capt. Tony. Sloppy Joe's plays up the fact that Hemmingway hung out there - Sloppy Joe's was in Capt. Tony's present location in Papa's day, so he really hung out at Capt. Tony's bar.

Hemmingway house is cool. My sister had her wedding there!

Be careful there Ms "O".... this is a family board...:lmao: :lmao:

I would never be able to cruise while pregnant. I was never "over" morning sickness, and it last all day long. I was sick until the day I had my son, and at about 6 months (when I was pregnant with my dd) I felt a little better, but still not great. My mom and sister were the same way. We are just not good at being pregnant.

I had that happen as well. Six month son an IV. Good news was I had two healthy and happy babies eeven if I did not have a hppy pregenancies.

Good Afternoon,

I don't think there is any certain way for boys or girls when pregnant. DS was an easy pregnancy...felt bad one day the entire time. With DD I may have felt good one day in nine months. Someone told me I was having a girl because it was too much hormone in my body and that was why I was feeling sick all the time. :sad2: I think that it was just her tude developing early. LOL!

Funny I always heard that with a boy, the hormones conflicted with mom's so that is what made it worse! :lmao: Like I said, it's all old wive's tales anyway :)

:lmao: During my 2nd pregnancy with DD, I asked the mid-wife why I didn't get the linea negra yet and she said ..."I have a theory...". She figures that the hormones from carrying a boy could make some of the symptoms more noticeable. Now that was how it worked for me, my hormone related symptoms were more intense with DS than DD:confused3

My only brush with fame is that Martina McBride is married to my second cousin. She let me interview her for my college paper once. It was Halloween, so we took her and her 2 girls trick-or-treating and then a friend and I went to her concert. :)

I 'sang' with Martina McBride once! We were at her Christmas concert outside of Boston and I got picked to go up on stage and sing Christmas carols with her and a few others. I was close enough to see the run in her nylons :lmao:

Ohhhhhhh:banana: I love Martina McBride:lovestruc DH's friend got us tickets to her concert, 3rd row. Boy can she sing:cool1:

While working under a race car at Lime rock race track a man came up and started asking questions abou the car. As I wiggled out from under the car I kicked him in the shin (accidently). Apoligizing for being in my way he offered a hand up when I looked up Isaw it was Paul Neuman! During that season I got to spend a fair amount of time with him and met his wife a few times. PJ is a true gentleman and had a lot of fun with him. At the tracks he shuns attention and concentrates on driving fast. Off track very pleasant to be around preferred hanging out with the "guys"
My Dad briefly met Paul Newman years ago when he was trying to interview him after a play. He told my Dad he didn't have time as he had to get to the hospital to see his wife and new baby. My Dad was impressed with him also.

Yes get a second battery. I got mine from a seller on Ebay..very reasonable!! Also make sure you have enough memory cards!!

How many memory cards do you need :confused3
We only got one:rolleyes1

Hope everyone is well. Just checking in to say hi!

Last day at my scrapbook shop is tomorrow, starting to feel a little sentimental. I pulled a bunch of stuff to bring and share with my new scrapbooking friends.

It has been so hectic here. Got my pirate costume on Monday, and I just ordered it on Friday, it is very cute. DD 21 just picked hers up today, love her hat. DD 18 is a party pooper and says she won't do it, but I may just slip something in my suitcase in case she changes her mind.

DH is looking to rent a tux on the ship, does anyone know anything about that? I looked on the website, but couldn't find any info.

Also, has anyone heard anything about the wine package, cost....??? I think I remember it being around $250 on the 7 day cruise....

Looking forward to our mini meet in NYC this w/e.

none of these photos worked for me... so let's see if they work in quote.
nope- says they were all moved or deleted on photo bucket. :(

Hmm, they're showing for me,even in your quote. :confused3

After reading futher,"probably cuz Tom fixed it!"

Brushes with fame:
Jay Leno came to visit DH (back in 1987 when DH was just my boyfriend) when he was in the hospital. He was very nice and gave us 4 tickets to see his show that night. After his show we got to go back stage to his room where he offered us drinks and food. Our parents had no idea who we were talking about since they didn't stay up to watch the Tonight Show. They finally figured it out when we said "he's the guy from the Doritos commercials"

Also met Joe Torre back in the 70s when he was playing for the Mets. I was friends with his step daughter Lauren and was staying overnight at their Florida apartment (spring training). He and his wife were going out and leaving us with a babysitter and at the door he stopped to give his daughters a kiss goodnight. I was standing nearby and he gave me a kiss on the cheek too:blush:
I remember thinking that that was nice of him as he didn't want me to feel left out:goodvibes
