Activate it on my phone? The guy said all I needed to do was have him activate it :confused3

What i was told is that they turned international roaming on at verizon but that I needed to activate it by dialing *228 and then selecting option 2 to update my roaming capabilities.

i did the activation thing on my phone.. thanks

Given the Disney/ABC relationship, will DCL carry the Olympics on their TVs since its on NBC and its related channels?

I doubt it - we'll probably get the highlights that are shown during news-segments.

Oh! Thought of another "famous" person - only Jimmy Buffett fans are likely to get this - DH and I had a beer with Captain Tony one night in Key West. We met him a few times, but one night we just sat at the bar and chatted with him for about an hour.

Supposedly it's worse with boys... I had very little problem with DD. That's probably another untrue old wives tale though! My mom and sister also had no problems being pregnant.

I don't think there is any certain way for boys or girls when pregnant. DS was an easy pregnancy...felt bad one day the entire time. With DD I may have felt good one day in nine months. Someone told me I was having a girl because it was too much hormone in my body and that was why I was feeling sick all the time. :sad2: I think that it was just her tude developing early. LOL!

We got ours at WalMart. Found them in the area where Customer Service is.

WOO HOO!! Congratulations!

It was sad, so sad.
It was sad, so sad.
It was sad when the great ship went down (to the bottom of the....)
Uncles and aunts, little children lost their pants.
It was sad when the great ship went down.

LOL! I had forgotten about that version. I just remembered the other one. :rotfl:

I ordered from Vistaprint.com. They should be here any day now. You can upload any picture you want and add your own text. Minimum order is 100 cards, but there's usually some sort of special, 50% off or free. I only paid the upload fee and shipping, less than $15 total if I remember correctly.

CONGRATULATIONS on the new addition

I used Vistaprint for business type cards with email for me and DD12 and our names etc..contact cards. She is always trading emails on vacation, now I hopefully won't have little pieces of paper all over the place like last year. I am going to give her a book to keep track of all the info kids give her.

We are in luck...Just talked to CONTINENTAL airlines and we are all set for 2 checked in luggage each with no charge.. PHEW!!!! Purchased before April 24..:cool1: :worship: I didnt know how this was going to go through with 4 of us and all my gowns and dresses!! and shoes of course.. My son has 7 pairs to bring.. YIKES!!!

Happy Birthday Cheryl!!!

pirate: ing -- HAPPY BIRTHDAY CHERYL. Love this cake as it matches your Mickey Kitchen so well.

I changed the cover on my bed. I bought this on ebay when in Chicago, got it cleaned and has been put away ever since. Now I am getting excited. :woohoo: :woohoo:

Bedskirt012.jpg

Now I must get back to cleaning house.

Awesome bedroom. Did you get that from mousesurplus? We bought each of our kids a Star wall sconce from the All-Star resort for their rooms. I would like to purchase the picture from the Poly but it always ends up going for way too much.

Two weeks today I am on that plane!!!!!!!!!:cool1:

Two weeks from today we'll be at Legoland AND NOT AT WORK!!!

Oh! Thought of another "famous" person - only Jimmy Buffett fans are likely to get this - DH and I had a beer with Captain Tony one night in Key West. We met him a few times, but one night we just sat at the bar and chatted with him for about an hour.

Last Mango in Paris-- didn't realize that captain Tony was a "real" person, but I've only recently become a Jimmy Buffett fan.

BRUSH WITH FAME
I had lunch with Vincent Price back in 1987. I was only a freshman in college, but had won a Rotary International scholarship and attended all of the Rotary club meetings. My sponsor knew Vincent and when he was in town for an event, had him join us for lunch.

There is information on Delta's website about the 2nd bag and who is eligible for rebates.

http://www.delta.com/traveling_checkin/baggage/baggage_allowance/second_bag_fee/index.jsp

We are coming home on Delta too and I have printed that information

Thanks...I already had this information from previous posts a few thread editions ago. It's always helpful to have it again thought. I hate rebates...especially having to fill out a form for each passenger (x6 for us). With this new increased amount from $25 to $50 for the extra bag...it just torks me all over again!

Given the Disney/ABC relationship, will DCL carry the Olympics on their TVs since its on NBC and its related channels?

Boy I would hope so.....its go team USA...not team ABC/NBC/CBS etc.! I love the Olympics, although not all the decisions they make. I support our team & athletes regardless of the turmoil in Beijing and surrounding areas.

My husband also works for CH2M Hill and we are going on the cruise, are you?

I know that we are excited about what CH2M Hill is doing, So awesome..

Take care and talk with you soon,

We will be there. I guess he is at the main headquarters (Denver)? It is a great company to work for. They are doing work on the Panama Canal too.

I had to leave work early because my DD had an allergic reaction to some over the counter medicine and I had to go pick her up. On the way home I stopped by Trader Joe's and picked up a couple of bottles of 2 Buck Chuck. (Yeah, we are real wine drinkers :rotfl:) One will be for our anniversary on Tuesday and the other will be for our anniversary celebration onboard. Will bubble wrap and lots of padding be enough to keep it safe in my suitcase?

Hey all! Hope everyone has a good day today. Desiree dd got your card and she was so excited! She wanted to know how Mickey got our address and I had to think quick and say that since he is the head mouse that he could look up our addy in the reservation system! Hey it sounded good to me and she bought it!:lmao: Thank you so much it really made her day. Now to ketchup up! :surfweb:

One of my younger kids asked that and our 17dd said *Why wouldn't he have our address?* I guess my kids think he is like Santa *knows everything*. :rotfl: :rotfl:

Thanks, Desiree!!!!

OK.. for those with a SM in mind ( And really ... EVERYONE is invited to participate regardless whether you're involved with the SM event or not...)... who might like a little more insight into the neighbor they'll be stalking (in a friendly way).... here are some 7 Question replies which might be helpful. Plus there was the earlier posting with a link to the replies from a 7 question posed about 3 or 4 weeks ago.
HERE it is...
IE... that's from 2 threads back ... or about 8000 postings in the past. It should be sneaky useful and helpful info I suspect. And remember... I resolutely declare I remain INNOCENT in gathering so much trivia on so many for all the SECRET MICKEY participants!!! At any rate... in about 30-40 minutes we have to hit the road... we'll be running up to Visalia by car where Alicia has a meeting to run .... and I'll be driving then on the computer doing TRAFFIC SCHOOL for a few hours in between watching the kids hopefully. SO I may not be on the DIS much even though I'll be online.

Really don't read much, but use to like the stories when you got to choose the next part - if a go to page x, if b go to page y. Granted food, wine & cheese are always on the top on the mind (usually go to Epcot Food & Wine festival annually, but not this year).

We are bringing a stroller, full size carseat for DS and booster seat for DD3. Of course, the older kids will have their stuff too...books, DSs, portable DVD player. We'll probably also have 5-6 cameras between us and the laptop. I am really scared about all our stuff! :scared1:

Oh yeah, I didn't list swim diapers! I'm trying to figure out how many we'll need... how many is everyone else bringing? We are not bringing a carseat since we're just doing the DCL transfers. We are bringing the stroller and the backpack/carrier for daddy to carry her.

Funny story...you know what they say about the 4th child. I used to pack all the gear when my oldest was a baby for shopping trips, etc. Now I don't even bother. I leave a diaper bag in the van with diapers, wipes, etc. but I hardly ever bring it inside anywhere. We even went to the circus (about 2.5 hours) last weekend and we didn't even bring diapers inside with us! Thankfully we didn't need them!

I'm basicly this way with my first :) Is that weird??

I don't think there is any certain way for boys or girls when pregnant. DS was an easy pregnancy...felt bad one day the entire time. With DD I may have felt good one day in nine months. Someone told me I was having a girl because it was too much hormone in my body and that was why I was feeling sick all the time. :sad2: I think that it was just her tude developing early. LOL!

Funny I always heard that with a boy, the hormones conflicted with mom's so that is what made it worse! :lmao: Like I said, it's all old wive's tales anyway :)

I think that how your pregnancy is is an indication of what their personality will be. DS is easy going and generally a really good kid who is mature and listens to me...and tries to tollerate DD. DD has been a little monkey since she was born and has always challenged me wanting to be too independant for her own good. I don't think that she liked not being in charge of things from the beginning. LOL!
