8/17/08 Captain Jack's Repossession Repo Cruise to PC thru TPC #11

I had no idea that would still be available. I couldn't find out where it is while searching the DL site for prices and such. This is our first and probably last trip to DL for a long time so I might just do this if it is still open. Off to google!

Thank you!!! I've been looking to change our Palo reservation. We had the last night (CC Day) but I really didn't want to go the last night. Now we changed it to the first night. Still not ideal, but we're still going to our regular dinner too & maybe saving dessert for then. I think by the end of the cruise we wouldn't be as excited about MORE FOOD!

Of course if a 6pm opens up on a sea day, I'll be happy to change again!

What time is your Palo reservation? We're in there for dinner that first night as well, 6:30p. We're with the Captain for dinner, so we'll probably miss our first night of dinner with the pirates. We'll see. Maybe we'll pop in to see/meet our table and then head over to Palo. We'll just have to see how crazy we are that day! Maybe we'll see you at dinner.

I always laugh when I see someone post this..I have been on 3 Disney Cruises and they have never announced our name...I am not sure why..i know the first one, everyone was a little scattered from a hurricane but I dont know on the other two. Hopefully they will this time!

We always have the debate over which name(s) to give them! I didn't change my name when we got married. Then I made things more confusing by naming my son (first name) using my last name. His first name is Darrah. So far, we always end up hyphenating and telling them it is Darrah-<DH's surname> and DS thinks they are saying his name. It is probably tradition now and we'll have to keep doing it.

For those doing the DCA Segway tour.......we did it last summer and enjoyed it alot. It was my 3rd Segway, DS's 2nd and the rest's 1st. We had a ball and everybody did great.

That last shot is the best. Love the ears!!!! We did Segway in WDW and loved and are doing it at DL. My younger DD didn't go with us in WDW but she will be going this time. Surprise for the kids, they don't know I booked it yet.

What do you think the odds are that I can get on the Canyon Canopy Adventure on the ship since I am solo?

Funny, we were told as long as the DV is used the credit is applied automatically due to the first 6 digits of the card.??? They were going to get a popup installed in the reservation computers that would identify the caller as having a DV. Wonder if it was ever implemented? Guess not! This discussion was last year before the Med cruises.



I'm glad you finally did get to speak to someone. I was going to say, I have never had a problem getting that info and have always booked with a TA. Must have been a new cm.

Isn't it true that you not only have to book with the card, but also have to pay in full with it??

6:30! I was hoping for 6:00, but I'm going to let them know that I still want to try & make our 8:00 dinner. Not that I'll tell them to rush, but I don't want them to draw it out for our benefit! We have to go to our regular dinner though, because we have kids & they won't want to miss out on the first night nor eat without us.

I won't interfere with your romantic dinner, but if you see a big bald guy & his not so petite wife with somewhat curly hair...give us a wave!

We got to go to Ringling Brothers Circus today DW niece work for Feld productions who put the show on so we got great seats. First time at a circus since I was a kid. It has really changed. There are now musical numbers, Circe de soleil acts along with the traditional animal acts. We had a great time.

Can't comment on any of these since I'm not doing any DCL excursions, but a suggestion for Cabo, come zip lining with us. Paula set something up with Wild Canyon (I think).

And Cartegena, come on one of the MR Emerald tours, there's a quite a big group on each of them so you won't be going alone.

highlight of mine was the building was having an appreciation ice cream social for the tennants. so i had ice cream sundaes for lunch and snacks.. it was many scoops of chocolate ice cream with oreos, m&ms, nuts and chocolate sprinkles with chocolate sauce.. YUMMY!!!

They didn't annouce us on our first DCL cruise either! I didn't even know until after our first cruise that they were suppose to announce us. By the second one I was expecting it though, so if they didn't I would've stood there until they did!

Had our name announced on our cruise but it was so anti-climatic - we were withing the first 20 or so on board and in Spain they boarded on 2 then put us straight in the elevators to 9. Got off the elevators and only a few CMs and no other guests because everyone headed straight to Topsiders. Hoping for a better anouncement this time.

I have one! This is one of our favorites...DD was very young and one night I told her we were going to grab dinner before getting groceries. Well, she LOVED Cracker Barrell, but DH and I were getting tired of that. I told her no, we were going to Olive Garden. On the verge of over dramamtic tears she cries "but I don't even like olives!!!!". I couldn't help but crack up - and she of course got mad!!!!! I had to explain that I was pretty sure they served more than olives!!! We still use it to pick on her!

Start: "There will be a DIS photo by Shutters in the Atrium before dinner on Friday. Dress as pirates. We'll be drinking Hurricanes!"

End: "DCL will be installing shutters on your veranda to prevent flooding. Meet in the Atrium on Friday to get your photo taken before going to the lifeboats so they can track you down after we are forced to walk the plank after DIS pirates hijack the ship and sail it into a hurricane"
