Okay...I'm outta here. Been doing some laundry, cleaning up the kitchen and also changed the oil in the Yukon, in between chatting. Yes...I change my own oil.

Time to hit the pool!!

No, I just got the PM to add the Thistle family "with service dog" . . . at least it should be easy to locate them on the cruise! On our Med cruise last year there was a family that was training a golden puppy to be used as a service animal, and it was the cutest thing ever -- particularly when Pluto started playing with it in the atrium!

This is probably the same family you saw on the med - Thistle did the repo with their golden retriever puppy last year, they had just gotten her . If I remember correctly the puppys name is Precious, but they call her Press.

We did the laundry on the last PC cruise during the shows and dinner. We picked a night that we didn't plan to go to the WDT and started laundry then. We were also in Animators that night and our room was very close to the laundry room on 6. I just left dinner between courses and ran up to switch loads :lmao:

LOL, that's not a bad idea at all. I can just picture getting up from dinner to switch loads. :rotfl2:

CRUISE SHOERELATED QUESTION
For those of you zip lining what kind of shoes are you bringing? I need to buy a pair since I don't want to get my new balance tennies all dirty. So I am looking at the Skechers Journeyman Safari or the Crocs Off Road on shoe buy dot com The crocs are $10 cheaper. Unfortunately the Payless BOGO ones that I wanted are all sold out.:headache:

Mike, is your interest in going to the 6:00 "sinner" or saving those going to the 6:00 "sinner"???????;)

Oh Father forgive me for I have sinned,

I had Room service deliver breakfast, then went to Topsiders and Lumière's, for Brunch, I went to Palo at 10am, and then a top up at Pluto's and pinochiois, before lunch at Topsiders and Lumière's, then after a drink at the bars I went to Goofys galley, then Scoops, before afternoon tea. After that I went to my room, ordered 15 mickey bars and a all hands on deck, and then went to the Cove café for cakes and cookies before Dinner. After two starters, one salad, bread and extra bread service, I had to entrées, two deserts, and the cheese board, before my double dip at Palo for Dinner, with a repeat of two starters, one salad, bed and extra bread service, I had to entrées, two deserts, and the cheese board and chocolate soufflé.
I then went to the pirate deck buffet, Pluto's, pinochios, Goofys, the Lumière's desert buffet, and Diversions for late night snacks, before going to my room for room service, and a chocolate on my pillow.

Father: I understand and whats your actual confession,?

I went to bed at 1am and didn't have anything to eat until 5am.

Thats why I call it Sinner.

Hey Stephanie............I remeber saving a few seats like twenty.....for the 10 cruise Southern cruise. We won't discuss that.

Was that the late night crew show? The one where y'all let me sit with your group so I wouldn't have to sit alone?

Then we are in for quite a treat! I couldn't remember if the dog was on our med cruise or the med repo last year, but this has to be the same family. We often sat in the WDT right in front of them and my girls were thrilled to have a puppy sitting just behind them!

I have J-41 flexible sole shoes that I am going to wear for the ziplining -- they have a double velcro strap so they won't fall off but are flexible for all the steps to get to the platforms. They are also (mostly) black, so that works too. However, my oldest daughter plans to put elastic bands or hair elastics over her flip flops and try that!:lmao:

You are forgiven, my son . . .:goodvibes Just do a few hail mickeys for penance . . .

Got mine at Bed Bath and Beyond last year. Worked greate on the cruise.

Did you use the fresh scent? How's the scent? I have scent issues as we tried a non-bounce set of dryer sheets and their fresh scent was the same fresh scent as Peeper's cat litter. :sad2:

We found that out on Friday night also. And the last I'd heard, Disney had bought back the stores. :confused3

Disney nows owns the Disney Stores once again!!! The contract for Children's Place was up in October.  They are closing all the No Profit stores down. My store is at a huge mall and will never close down!!!:thumbsup2

I was actually just playing around with doing something like this last night. I had a picture of the deck plans, and used a photo editing program. I just used the little "paint bucket" icon to fill in the staterooms with a DIS green color. It's not 100% perfect, but it doesn't look bad. I was trying to figure out how to add text to list the cabins alongside the deck plan this morning, but gave up on it to go swimming with the kids!:thumbsup2 I'll probably try to play around with it tonight.

That is a great idea Mike!!!!!:yay: :yay: Maybe we we all get up-grades and you will have to chnage the colors!!

Also the Ducky show. I am polite but I do save seats. If someone does take a spot I was saving............I would not put up a fight.:flower3:

Thanks for that, Coral. At least now I won't have to worry if we don't check in until later.

One thing I do want to point out....but then I should put it on the Pirate Zone.....for those of us planning dinner at the port....the Doubletree has really, really good food. And the price wasn't bad. I LOVED their outdoor patio, and there's room enough for all of us.
If we ate there, the people without cars wouldn't have to worry about transportation to dinner.

It might turn out to be the best option. How about an earliesh dinner and then have the shuttle take up to see the Tall Ships? Or staying at the hotel and visiting?

We all bought Keen's that are waterproof and have a closed toe but are open on the sides. I wore my leather ones at WDW last week and the large quanities of water did not phase them. The traction was great.

Got mine at Bed Bath and Beyond last year. Worked greate on the cruise.

Does this contain fabric softener as well or do I just need to bring dryer sheets?

But if they hadn't cut back on all the fun merchandise, maybe my store would have been turning a profit!
:sad::sad:

Yes they are Fresh Scent. But honestly I never smelled the scent at all. I actually like a strong scent, but I couldn't smell these at all. The clothes just smelled wet after the wash, no lingering detergent scent what so ever.

I've been hoping we could see the tall ships from the hotel, but if we'd have a better view, we can have the shuttle take us somewhere. They were really great about taking me to a liquor store and waiting for me.
Sounds like a good plan to me. I haven't checked the Pirate Zone yet. I wonder if we can add that idea? We're going to need to take a vote.

After a few meets with these pirates, I can tell you that you will be sitting and chatting well after dinner. I wouldn't make any plans for after.

No fabric softener in the Dropps. I just packed a few dryer sheets.

Actually there is a special dispensation... gluttony doesn't count if it's committed on a DCL cruise as I'm sure you recall from the following section on the DCL FAQ:

Here I am...talking to myself again..:rolleyes1
Maybe it's a sign.

If I never run into any Pirate t-shirts on the cruise, I'll know y'all are hiding from me.
:sad1: :sad1: :sad1: :sad1:

Are you kidding? If we don't see you around, we'll be hunting you down!

I'm a Cast Memnber once again! Although they still haven't decided if they're going to give the per diem CM's any discounts yet.:confused3

I think one of the problems with some of the malls is the rent. I know that when they remodeled one of the stores in a nearby mall, they had the option to move over to the better half of the mall, but the rent there was ridiculously high compared to the smaller side, so they stayed where they were. They would have had to more than double their current sales to turn a profit if they moved.
