Thanks, Roger!

I know I have absolutely no right to be, but boy, am I jealous!!!

Sounds good to me.

Have you seen their outdoor patio? It's pretty nice, right over the marina. There was a group out there "enjoying it" ..or maybe commandeering is a better word....the night before my cruise. Good thing my balcony door was very soundproof!! They were having a great time. And my balcony was just above the restaurant's patio. Hey.....I can pass down the cold beers and margaritas!

Not exactly the patio but the view from there.

Thanks for that, Coral. At least now I won't have to worry if we don't check in until later.

One thing I do want to point out....but then I should put it on the Pirate Zone.....for those of us planning dinner at the port....the Doubletree has really, really good food. And the price wasn't bad. I LOVED their outdoor patio, and there's room enough for all of us.
If we ate there, the people without cars wouldn't have to worry about transportation to dinner.

We are going to have a hard time getting most restaurants to handle the "rush" with the crowd we are talking. The DT restaurant will allow those who want to go elsewhere to meet before or after for drinks, dessert, etc.

:woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: Yay! Glad you're coming. I didn't get to talk to you much last time!!

Have I mentioned their club sandwich?? Wow...Megan and I split one, and were still stuffed. Yum yum yum.......

Cheryl told me I had to..no choice.. :rotfl2: I am sorry I didn't get to talk to you much last time (I am sure those lovely people I sat next to wished I had gone off and talked someone else's ear off as well!) I am torn between dragging DH and DD with me or going by myself and then I only have to worry about me...

Also the Ducky show. I am polite but I do save seats. If someone does take a spot I was saving............I would not put up a fight.:flower3:

So, what you are saying is that I benefited twice from *saved seats*? :rotfl: :rotfl:

And to think I could have relied on that dispensation instead of spending years learning the blessing that took the calories out of the desserts! :lmao:

:thumbsup2

Twenty-five years a priest and I never came across that rule before. I'll run it by the bishop tomorrow just to make sure I know what I'm talking about when I come on board.

And to think I could have relied on that dispensation instead of spending years learning the blessing that took the calories out of the desserts! :lmao:

So you will be blessing all of our desserts?

Just curious, does the blessing remove the flavor too?

Good point. If we have a delegation out there most of the time, we're certain to not be missed.

Heh...like we COULD be missed!!!

I think another nice thing, if we take over the patio at the DT, we can wander around more freely.
I wonder if we should make some kind of reservation ahead of time? I'm afraid though, that if we "warn" them ahead of time that we're taking almost the whole patio, they'll charge us as a "party". Maybe it's best if we sneak up on them.......

I was even thinking of calling all of the restaurants this week to find out what the largest party that can be booked before it turns into a banquet. So if they say "15 is a banquet" then we make ressies for 14 X 5. :rotfl2:

But if they hadn't cut back on all the fun merchandise, maybe my store would have been turning a profit!
:sad::sad:

I totally agree Stace.::yes:: ::yes:: Once Disney took out the home and adult clothes....I quit!!:rolleyes1 Our store downsized to half the size it was. :sad2: I am hoping Disney will go back to its old way of having things for the home and lots of Adult clothes instead of one big toy store.:rolleyes1

I'm a Cast Memnber once again! Although they still haven't decided if they're going to give the per diem CM's any discounts yet.:confused3

I think one of the problems with some of the malls is the rent. I know that when they remodeled one of the stores in a nearby mall, they had the option to move over to the better half of the mall, but the rent there was ridiculously high compared to the smaller side, so they stayed where they were. They would have had to more than double their current sales to turn a profit if they moved.

General Motors bought out our huge mall and the rents skyrocketed.:sad2: Rent used to be based on percentage of sales.:thumbsup2 After GM bought the mall....it was based on percentage of square feet.:headache: We lost a lot of nice places because the rent got way to high.:sad1:

I am joining you for dinner on Saturday night and the hotel sounds just fine with me...not that it is much help but if someone needs to run an errand that evening..my van will fit a few additional.

You have no choice!!!

You must drag the entire family!!:goodvibes

Duh..........yes!!!:flower3: Now you can save me seats!!!

I'm going to guess and say that at the DT, they can seat 5 to a table outside....and would fit about 45 people total. 40-45 anyway.

This is the only picture I took of the patio. Megan & Dave's room is the balcony (green railing) that you can see above to the left, on the roof of the dining room. Mine was two doors down from them. The Moms will have two rooms up there in August also.
