It's going to be a nice change from my gas leaking, smelly, broken airconditioned, cracked windshield, 1993 Honda Civic:

Speaking of smelling like gas, I went to fill up my car this morning a gas literally sprayed out like a water hose all over my arm and soaked my arm. Yikes!! Needless to say, I have a hint of unleaded fuel on my clothes! How much driving have you done already in your new vehicle?

I've done a fair bit of driving in my new car already.

The fact the we bought it 3 hours away from home means a large drive to start with.

Liz came home from camp last Friday and now we are packing her up again to send her off to school.

We are moving the majority of her stuff into her apartment tomorrow.

School does not start until after labour day but she wants to get all settled before then.

We took the twins to salt springs to play in the falls on Sunday..I took pics ...as soon as I get a chance Ill post...

We have booked a Kayak/snorkel tour with Maui Eco tours.
Its the only tour thing we are doing..

So yesterday Mike and I took the Kayaks to the lake and practiced rolling them and getting in and out from the water...It was fun..But I'm a little sore today..Its not an easy thing to do. I did alright once I got the hang of it tho...

Hi all!! Sorry to leave a quick post! Things are sooo hectic here at work since temps have been so hot! The cool water in those pics look soooo nice right now! Oh how I wish I was there!

Hope everyone is doing well! No big plans this weekend… the beach is definitely out thanks to Hurricane Bill sweeping by off the coast.

Just a quick hello to say I'm home

We had an amazing holiday. The Pop was great, the Cruise was 'Wonder'ful and The Polynesian was FAB-U-LOUS !! We had such a great time

I'm hoping to make a start on my trip reports this week, so I'll post the links for you

I am so tired, I'm trying to keep going and get on with some laundry

Betsy - I love your photos, it looks like everyone had fun

Robin - Lovely car too, you must be thrilled with it

Kelly - I hope you found something nice to do today. A week or so ago, we were worried that Hurricane Bill might impact our Cruise, but thankfully we had great weather onboard

I just booked our next Disney Cruise

Wohoo! Everyone's back!!!

Mandy, we were worried that ole Bill was going to mess up your cruise... that's great to hear the weather was nice! The kids remembered you all were down to WDW and wished they were there with the girls.

They said they were going to try and convince the Martindale family to take a walk (cruise) on the RC side and go in Jan 2011.

Robin, on booking your cruise! We'll be heading down to PC a week behind you... this will be our first cruise with CW's family. I can't wait to see the excitement on their face when they board their first cruise ship.

You all ought to think about Freedom of the Seas on Jan 9, 2011. I don't mean to push RC on a Dis thread... but we are really looking forward to this one. We've reserved an aft balcony and the ports of call look sooo wonderful. Come one, come all!!

Kelly, I have no problem at all with cruising on Royal Caribbean.

I've done a few of them myself

I'd love to try one of those super huge ships to see what they are like.

Yay, It's the weekend

Have you got anything nice planned ?

We have got a long weekend, as it's a Bank Holiday on Monday, and I think we're going to be chilling and catching up on sleep

Hopefully I'll get the Cruise part of my trip report posted over the next day or two

Robin ~ how cool to be sailing with Ann and Tom again, you must be excited

Betsy ~ you must be so looking forward to your vacation, I can't wait to hear all about it

Kelly ~ when are the kids back at school ? I guess it must be soon. I forgot to say that Becky got her exam results this week, and she got 7 passes. She only needed 4 to get into her Photography course, and she (& us) were thrilled that she got an A in Photography

Tomorrow I think I'm going to try and get out to visit my dad. I'm embarassed to say that it's been an awfully long time since I saw him last.

This weekend it's our UK DIS Girly Weekend away. We're off to Birmingham, so not too far for me to go. There's about 8 of us this year (the recession has hit hard for some people sadly), but we're raring to go

I've just got back from having my hair and nails done, and I'll start packing later. We're heading off around 1pm tomorrow and I'll be home around the same time on Sunday

So I think I'll take this time to say 'have a lovely weekend girls' !!
