Thanks Robin!! Is Liz like me? I love to be casual as much as possible, but when it's time to go out on the town... I really love dressing up!

That's me too. I live in my scruffs during the day, but if I'm going out I really like to make the effort, I love getting dressed up

Kelly, yes Liz sounds a lot like you. She is casual most of the time but she is fussy how she looks. She loves to dress up whenever she gets the chance to go out somewhere special. I think that is why she loves to cruise

Yup, I'm sure that I will have the most beautiful grandchildren in the world ........... doesn't everybody

I really detest getting dressed up for anything.

Maybe its because I can never find anything to wear that actuallylooks good on me.

Give me jeans or shorts and a tshirt and I'm happy anyday.

Was she okay or did it make her more confused

I've been thinking about my dad a lot tonight.

I need to go and see him soon.

The nursing home where he is had been closed to visitors for about 10 or 12 days because of illness.

It's been way too long since I've been up to see him.

Hi Girls

I hope your Easter Sunday is going well. I've had a lovely day. I went to the Easter Service at church around 10.30am, when I got home at midday the girls had just got up

We had a yummy Turkey dinner, then visited Paul's aunt at the nursing home and then later this afternoon Paul & I went to see Vantage Point at the cinema. We thought it was great, I will have to get it when it comes out on DVD

For the rest of this evening I'm going to chill and DIS, and then Lost is on in a couple of hours

I went to my mom's house this afternoon.

We had a "put everything on the table and eat when you want to" dinner

Now I have the washing machine going and am DISing for a bit.

So what is everyone's plans for today ? Paul & I are going to a shopping mall this morning. The girls aren't interested in going, so hopefully we'll go for a nice lunch somewhere

We're celebrating on our Cruise thread today as it's only 5 months till our double dipping Cruise - I can't believe we booked this Cruise at 17 months out - though it still feels ages away

I have promised her for a long time that I would take her over to shop and now she is calling me on it

Not that I really want to go, since I'm not much of a shopper but might as well get it done and keep my promise.

Hi all! Hope you girls had a Happy Easter!

We woke up at 6 a.m. for sunrise service. I fixed some muffins to send over to CW’s parents since they had their church coming over for breakfast.

I stayed inside and watched the service, I didn’t want to scare anyone since I had not showered yet and put on any make-up! They may have tried to perform an exorcism the way I looked that morning!

Mandy… wow time has passed pretty quickly! Five months will be here before you know it! Just be sure to book again before you step off the ship for a January cruise!

Robin… my calendar says Easter Monday for Canada! Do you all celebrate Easter today with big dinners and whatnot?

Betsy… are you taking a deep breath today after your busy schedule today? I would love to see your Easter egg hunt pics if you have any!

Good Morning all,

We had a great Easter...The weather was good, so we had our hunt...the winners were...Julia,(she won a word game, I think it was call "last word")
in the oldest group..Victoria,(the prize was a handheld elec. quiz game)in the mid aged group, and David in the youngest group( he won a magna doodle/workbook)...
They all of course got there baskets, with assort. toys and candy..also a stuffed animal in each...The older girls got fake nails and lip gloss as there "toys"

Dinner was very good and Mike did most of the cooking... I did the clean up after...and all I can say is we have a ton of food left, even tho a ton was eaten..We always make too much

Your time out sounds nice...Im not a big breakfast eater.. so a full breakfast like that would have to be later in the day for me...like brunch....In the morning all that sounds good to me is COFFEE...LOL
Most of the time I dont even think about eating until around 2-3 PM...
Unless Im going to town for my Thurs. lunch day...Thats at noon...

Well I have a lot of laundry to do...
So Im off to fill the washer....

Paul & I went to the shopping mall this morning, but I didn't see anything that I really wanted. All Paul got was a Billabong wallet, but we did have a very nice Chinese meal for lunch

It's Easter Monday here too, it's just another day off that is attached to the Easter weekend, we don't celebrate anything

My answer to your question is the same as Mandy's answer Kelly.

It is Easter Monday but it really does not mean anything.

Some things are closed like banks and post offices and most schools too but generally it's just another day for most people.

I only bought two items while I was in Michigan today and they both came from Hot Topic.

I bought something for my future beautiful grandchildren.

I got two of those little one piece undershirt things, sometimes I think they call them onesies??

One of them says Science is Awesome and the other has a cartoon character (kinda looked like darth vaderish to me) that says..... I sithed in my pants. It's something from Family Guy I think.

I figured Alex would get a kick out of them some day when he has a kid and they were on sale cheap

I tried on some tops for me but they just not quite right. They needed to be just the tiniest bit bigger and they would have been great. But it was in one of those stores that caters to the younger and smaller generation.

LOL, are you sending Liz and Alex some hints there Robin ? My girls love Hot Topic, it's their fave shop in the US and easily spend most of their money there

I haven't got much to do today. I'm taking my mum shopping (nothing exciting), then doing some grocery shopping - as the girls are eating me out of house and home. They don't go back to school/college till a week on Thursday, so this is quite a long Easter break

I went grocery shopping on Thursday and made sure to have a little extra in the house since the kids are on spring break... I near about fell in the floor when the total bill came to double what I normally spend!

They have had friends over this week so I expect a great food shortage very soon!

That drives me nuts! To be able to fit in anything, I have to go up two sizes in those stores... no wonder the younger generation has self-esteem issues regarding their weight!
