7th January 2007, Dancing Queens Thread CONTINUED

Hey there!!

Sorry I had to pop in and out so quickly yesterday! Very busy day here at the office!:headache: Today looks to be the same:upsidedow

Robin, glad you're back safe and sound! I do feel for you about not being able to get to do anything Disney while in that area.

Mandy, wow!! An earthquake in your area... Paul reminds me so much of CW! We stayed at a hotel in Williamsburg, VA, our room was at the front corner of the hotel where about 30 yards away was the railroad for Amtrak.
... I could have sworn the train was coming thru our room in the middle of the night, I jumped to my feet as soon as I heard it while CW slept like a baby!:rotfl:

Betsy, lots and lots of    to you! Hopefully some of your DBs & DSs will open their eyes and see that this is something they should do too! After all... it is their mom too! I'll keep you in my thoughts and prayers!:wizard:

  Yay, it's nearly the weekend:banana:

I love Fridays

What have you got planned for the weekend girls ?

We've got a quiet day tomorrow, then on Sunday it's Mother's Day here in the UK

I'm hoping the girls have got me 'Run Fatboy Run' on DVD and we're going to my fave Chinese Buffet for lunch - woohoo ! no cooking and washing up :woohoo:

Have a lovely weekend

Good morning Mandy.

No exciting plans for the weekend here.

I have about 2 boatloads of laundry to be done though :laundy: :laundy: :laundy:

:faint:

The washing machine has been acting up lately, of course.

So I hope it behaves so I can get some of this stuff done.

Enjoy your Mother's Day.:flower3:

Happy Mother's Day, Mandy! Sit back and relax this weekend, let Paul and the girls wait on you!!:goodvibes

Hey Robin... how do you make a washer machine behave?:confused3 :lmao: Sorry couldn't resist! Bad joke, I know...:scared: Good luck with your :laundy: today! I know the feeling... I've got a mountain to climb to get to the top our the dirty clothes pile in our laundry room.:sad2:

Betsy, hope you are doing well today! Make sure you take some time for yourself as well this weekend!

I'm going to try and come in to work tommorrow so I can get some extra vacation time for April. It'll be nice to come in here and get stuff done without the phones ringing and without interruptions!:yay:

Hope everyone has a wonderful day today!

Thanks girls

I'm really looking forward to relaxing with many cups of tea on Sunday, and to going out for lunch with Paul and the girls too

Kelly - have you bought anything else for your Cruise recently to add to that beautiful dress ?

Have a great weekend girls

Have fun

Kelly the washing machine is on it's 5th load and so far so good.

I haven't had to reprimand it at all yet.;)

We have a yucky dreary, snowy day here today.

Yesterday was nice and sunny, guess it's pay back time.

Morning Robin

What have you got planned for today ?

Paul & I went to the nursing home to see his aunt this morning and had a wander around a shopping mall (but we didn't buy anything)

Kerry and Becky have just walked in with a cute Mother's Day balloon and some Daffodils (my fave flowers) for tomorrow, and I'm going to have an afternoon in front of the TV with my laptop to do some DISing :)

Have a great day

I've been looking for a nice pair of heels to go with the dress, but so far haven't seen anything I like! I'm too picky when it comes to shoes!

I did buy a new bathing suit and a shirt for CW. I'm trying not to spend too much before the cruise, I'm scared to see our total tab at the end of the cruise.:scared:

:rotfl: Glad it's behaving very nicely for you! Wish I could say the same for all three kids at home (this includes CW)! ;)

Today, it is in the 50's here! I'll have to send some of the temps up your way! Watching the weather it looks like you'll be sending your's first.

Hope you all are having a great day!:goodvibes :grouphug:

Hey Kelly

What are your plans for today ?

Will you find out if your soccer team have won today ? :wizard: Good Luck:wizard:

I can't wait to go out and do some Cruise shopping. I see that your Cruise is getting really close - it'll be here before you know it :)

Hi Mandy!!!!

They have been slow posting the results online so we may have to wait til the middle of next week...:guilty:

I'm working today... not so bad! I've got the whole building to my place and I've brought a little friend with me! We've got the cd player turned up! I'm organizing and singing out loud (off key of course)!:lmao:

Here's my little friend...

awww, isn't he the sweetest.

What is his name?

Today I am still doing laundry.

Poor washing machine has to behave two days in a row:lmao:

I don't know if I told you guys that Alex had all 4 of his wisdom teeth removed on Monday.

I was not home, still travelling in a northerly direction at the time.

He didn't handle the anesthetic well, Liz texted me that she could hear him puking all the way from the waiting room :scared1:

After that left his system though he seemed to be doing really well.

Now in the past day or so he has developed "dry socket" in one of the holes.:guilty:

He has a lot of pain. He went to see the oral surgeon yesterday and he packed it with something but it still hurts alot.

The pain meds he is on don't seem to be helping very much.

Anybody got any good ideas:confused3

Other than dealing with laundry and Alex I don't have a lot planned for the weekend.

I'll just take it as it comes, go with the flow :boat:

Thanks! That is CW's little baby, his name is Gunner!:goodvibes

Oh my, poor Alex!! I had all four wisdom teeth cut out and dissolvable stitches...:guilty: I can really sympathize with him!

I, as well, did not handle the anesthesia very well. I got sick all over the steps as soon as I left the doctor's office. :scared: It took two people to carry me out of there...

Once I got home, I came out of the bathroom with my pants down not realizing that there was company there.:rotfl2: Thank goodness I had my drawers on and a long shirt!

The dentist gave me a syringe (sp?) and told me to mix 1/4 tsp of salt with a cup of warm water and irrigate of four areas at least 3 times a day and after I eat anything.

Not sure is this will help his dry socket or not! Tell him I am sooooo sorry! And also that we all hope he feels better soon!:flower3: :flower3:  :wizard:

Well... after much, much filing of 2007 items and a dog wanting to go outside everytime the leaves blew by... I heading home!

Chat with ya later!:car:

Aww Kelly, he's gorgeous

Robin - I hope you're getting through that laundry OK ;)

Poor Alex, I hope he's feeling better soon. Me and dentists don't ever get on, and I'm always sick too

Have a lovely evening girls :thumbsup2

Poor Kelly, throwing up like that.

At least Alex did his all at the office, except for a couple of nights ago, he threw up again:confused3

Maybe a reaction to the painkillers??

:lmao: It's not nice to laugh but I'm sure it was pretty funny to see you walking around with your pants down.

Good thing you didn't trip over them.

Hey Mandy.

The laundry has been stalled for awhile.

Took a trip to the grocery store.

Alex wanted to get out for a bit, to take his mind of his pain.

The grocery store was way too busy for my taste though, being a Saturday afternoon.

I don't know how people shop like that all the time :scared:

Morning Girls, I hope everyone is OK

Well it's Mother's Day over here in the UK, and I got some Daffodils, a balloon, the Run Fatboy Run DVD and a few chocolates (don't want to ruin that diet :rotfl2: )

I'm looking forward to going to our favourite Chinese buffet at lunch time and to everyone making me cups of tea all day (very doubtful :rotfl: )

I hope you have a lovely day too :thumbsup2
