Resort Disney's Club Level (CL) Thread

Any update or even rumors on when the Hawaii Longhouse will gets it stair's replacement would be very welcome.
If I see a long timer I’ll ask .
Also any update on what is is going on with the Wailulu roof so soon after it just opened in Dec, 2024, and the day to day impact on dining. At this point all we know is that it open at 5 PM Dinner seating.
Ya that seems weird .
I will work on my list for the GF so please stay tuned... :chat:.

We are booked Poly TPV CL for August. I saw a video of a first floor TPV CL room with a walk in shower no tub. Looking at CL rooms on touring plans, it shows 3 rooms on the 1st floor, 3 on the 2nd, and 5 on the 3rd having showers only and not HA. This is my first time ever looking at touring plans, so I was just wondering if those descriptions are accurate. I am going to email signature services with my request for shower only, but wanted to make sure the tp descriptions were accurate before I included a room number request as well. TIA :)

Just back from an enjoyable stay at Coronado Springs Club Level. I was interested in what we would find as I see many reviews where the food offerings are not rated as the most popular.

In terms of service, it was great. There seemed to be plenty of CM's needed to clear tables, serve alcohol, and generally provide any assistance needed. I found them to be proactive in anticipating guests needs, with 1 or two always circulating around the room, removing dishes, asking if you needed anything, or offering to refill a drink. That being said, attendance seemed to be light during the week with few children, so it was fairly quiet overall.

The food: while I found the food to be very good quality, I can understand the reviews. The choices are very streamlined and somewhat repetitive.

Breakfast: was good with a choice of sausage alternating daily with very good and well-cooked bacon. The rest was pretty standard, with average pastries. Always oatmeal, an egg dish and hard boiled eggs. A fun breakfast choice on Thursday was french toast that was really churros :wizard: Kind bars and halos/cuties were offered daily.

Snacks: in the afternoon were standard/limited with the addition of rice krispie treat mickey bars, plain or chocolate-coated.

Dinner: there is really only one 'adult' entree offered each night, with a choice of two 'sides' and 'kids' choices'. Our 'main' choices for our stay in order were: tuna poke, Rioja braised chicken, salmon cakes, and Fideua pasta with shrimp. Our favorite was the shrimp, minus the pasta, (which was bland and very overcooked). Kids' choices each night were either chicken nuggets (ok but not crispy) or corn dog nuggets (my actual favorite evening dining choice, no regrets). Pasta with meat and sauce or mac and cheese was the kids' side.

There was also a salad choice offered nightly, the base always being spring mix. For ex: marinated tomatoes and cucumber over spring mix, blue cheese and almonds with spring mix, potato salad, for some reason served over spring mix, and straight up spring mix served with oil and vinegar on the side. Cheese and salami/chorizo, carrots and cucumbers with ranch (very good) served nightly. A different variety of gazpacho 'shot' was served nightly, as was tomato bread.

Desserts: typical bite-sized things and cookies. They had mini lemon meringue tarts that I ate a lot of...

There was a dedicated bar service CM so you never had to wait for wine or beer. Pours were generous and CMs were quick to offer you another if they came by your table and noticed an empty glass. No complaints there.

Mickey ice cream bars were available upon request. They always warned you, "I will have to check", but I didn't see anyone being denied a bar.

Canned sodas, juice, milk and water, including Pellegrino, were always well-stocked in the beverage case. The coffee machine worked well, although the heat on the hot water function was turned down in order for kids to make their own hot chocolate without a potential lawsuit. If you look down, there is a microwave where you can boost your water temperature to make your tea.

Buses were plentiful in the morning if you wanted to make rope drop, although be warned that you are the last pickup on the route departing and you may have to stand. We were also the last station to get dropped off upon return. Lyft/Uber would definitely make things quicker if you are in a rush.

We liked the feeling of the resort and the room was spotless and made up each day. Doors are heavy and tend to slam so it can be loud when revelers are returning from their day (or night).

We paid $2k for 4 nights midweek on a BB. (thought I would include that since people never seem to say what their 'good deal' was). We enjoyed our stay, but would probably not hurry back only because we felt that the food choices, although fresh and good quality, were too limited. :smickey:
