Its very hot here!.... in the low 90s...

A good day for me tho...as I was on register all day( 6-2) at work....so not by all the hot grills and fryers..

I also had a nice dinner!...steak, steamed veggies and buttered carrots,...Now Im So full...

Hi all!!

Glad to see everyone is doing well!

I have been on the go for too long now! Chad's had soccer games throughout the past few weeks and I've had to leave work early putting me very far behind.

We all have been doing well! The kids are itching to start summer break... the weather around here has felt like summertime. Hope it sticks around for awhile, has made us busy, busy here in the office!

Im gonna watch AI...Then go to bed, as I have to be up by 5AM tomorrow for another long day at work...

I've been doing some general clean up in the garage.

Alex is going to start sorting thru his things, getting ready to move off on his own again.

Tonight we are going to a concert.

Busy day all around.

Hello ladies,...
Brought home a McFlurry from work for Mike and I...Enjoyed it on our back porch in the sun...
Then just relaxed and listened to some tunes...and soaked it up!....Life is good!

Did a little bit of everything today...grilled (round eggs, sausage, folded eggs, scambled eggs..etc.)in the morning, made the burritos..20 then 20 more when they were gone..baked cookies, and pies, then boxed the pies, worked on the fryer for a couple hrs. during lunch time...then finished off on the register..
I like it that way...makes the day go faster...

and right now Im trying to catch up on some DVRed shows...

Mandy... they sure are keeping me busy! CW & Chad have a soccer game tonight, then next weekend our travel team starts up again The kids are suppose to break for the summer around June 17th! I can't wait!! How about yours?

Robin... Hope you enjoyed your concert the other nite! Who did you see? How is Alex making out getting things together for his big move?

Last night we watched Run, Fatboy Run... it was pretty funny! I felt bad for poor old Dennis!

No big plans for this weekend I just hope the weather is nice! CW has been building a pergola... we've got the poles up!

We went to see a Canadian comedy singing group. We are all big fans of this group in our house and enjoy seeing them live whenever we can.

Alex is out of town at the moment apartment hunting. He is supposed to start his job in the first two weeks of June.

Woohoo, it's the weekend

It's also a public holiday on Monday, so no work or school

We haven't got any plans at the moment for the weekend, but the weather is supposed to be nice, so hopefully we'll spend some time in the garden

Kelly ~ I love Run Fatboy Run. The first time I watched it was in the middle of the night, on a flight home from WDW. All was quiet on the plane, when the scene where they are fighting came on and someone got hit in the face with a dustbin lid ~ well I burst out laughing, and everyone turned to look at me (and the girls hid in embarrassment) It's a funny movie

Our weather here is sort of going back and forth between shorts and tank tops and sweaters and jeans

You just never know what you are going to get.

Alex called right after my last post and said that he has an apartment in his new home town.

I had to run out and put some money in his bank account so that he could put a deposit down on it

I have no worries though because I know that he will pay it all back, eventually

Good morning ladies.

What an interesting day I had yesterday.

Both of my children go their own apartments on the same day in cities about 4 hours apart from each other

Things are looking up.

The house will be a lot quieter come September.

Actually Alex will be leaving by the end of May.

Liz has her apartment starting the beginning of August.

I will probably be making a trip to Alex's new home at the end of this week to move some of his things in. He gets possession of it on Thursday. He won't start working fulltime until the beginning of June sometime though.

So now the packing up and moving out will begin.

........ hmmmmm.......... I wonder how much junk I can get out of my house

Good Morning Girls

We've just had a nice weekend, as yesterday was a Bank Holiday. Paul & I went to a shopping mall as the weather was dull and wet. We had a lovely day and had a nice lunch too. So everything is back to normal today (I wish Monday was alway part of the weekend - LOL)

Did you get up to anything nice over the weekend ?

Robin - It's great that Alex & Liz have sorted out their new apartments. I bet you'll miss them - I know I would miss my two (even though they drive me bonkers sometimes )

Hi everyone! Sorry I've been MIA! Got some neat stuff going on that's been keeping me EXTREMELY busy! I'll tell ya about it in just a minute!

Oh my gosh, Mandy! I wish I could have seen the look on their face! I agree, that part was so funny! Please tell Paul & the girls we said hello, we were looking at pics and laughing so hard. I'm glad you guys caught a couple of those moments on your camera...

The past couple of days I've been away helping Alex to move some of his things to his new apartment. He had to go there to sign some papers and get his uniforms, so we thought we would make the trip doubly useful.

He came back home though and went camping with his friends for the weekend.

He won't start working until the beginning of June.

I have no big plans for the weekend. Mother's Day doesn't really mean too much around this house.

Tonight I'm going to an extra dance practice and then after that I have no idea what I will do other than the never ending laundry
