Hi DWDQ's, we're home

We landed this morning and we had a great time

The girls had a fab time with Kelly's Chad & Carolin, both before and after their cruise. We saw Kelly before her Cruise, but CW was very poorly, and even when we said goodbye to them before they left for Port Canaveral, there was a chance that poor CW wouldn't be able to go. Kelly had a wander around the Magic Kingdom with us (when CW was resting), and it was lovely to see her. We were due to meet up with them on Friday, but me and Paul got there late, and although we ran into the kids (who told us that they were all able to get the Cruise, and had a great time), me and Paul didn't get the chance to see Kelly & CW

Betsy, I wish you'd been around for my birthday again too, we spent the evening at the Polynesian having lots of Lapu Lapu's instead

Anyway we had a fab time, and I'll let you know when I start my trip reports

Good chilly cold morning everyone.

My mother called to tell me that my sister in law gave up her fight with cancer this morning shortly after 6am.

She was in the hospital 11 days and my nephews were with her night and day, so I'm glad for them that it is finally over.

It must have been extremely hard for them to watch her slowly fade away.

I'm very proud of them though for the way that they stepped up and were there for their mother right up until the very end.

Well it went to -13 last night...But my wonderfull DH got up and stoked the fire, twice last night, and let me sleep...I woke up, nice and toasty warm this morning...

Its still in the Minus double digits... ..
Im just staying home today ...So I dont mind...

Betsy ~ Stay warm, I would hate it to be that cold (thankfully we never get weather like that). Mike's a good one for getting up and keeping the place warm

Morning ladies.

It's a balmy -11 with a windchill of =35 here this morning

Yes Mandy today is memorial day. Cheryl's ashes are being buried at 11 with only immediate family at the cemetery (kinda glad that they didn't ask me to attend with this weather we are having).

Then at noon there is going to be a lunch at a local hall.

Last night my mom and I made up a picture board of photos of Cheryl to display with the ones that her family made.

It was a hard job but yet a fun one too.

Brought back a lot of memories.

Stay warm today everyone.

Evening Mandy.

All went well at the memorial party today.

There was a very large crowd. I was kind of surprised when I walked in and found the room full of people.

My picture board was a big hit.

I thought that her family was going to make one up but they didn't

So mine was crowded around the whole time it was there.

I'm so glad that I took the time to do it.
