I bought some more flowers..the maragolds I planted got a frost last night...Stupid weather...
Today I bought pansys, instead...I also bought some primrose I plan on putting in my garden by my driveway....and I picked up some very nice creeping phlox...It was so pretty I couldnt pass it up....Now I have to figure out where Im going to put it...
Oh and I got some cucumbers, and some strawberry plants too!...

Well better go find something for dinner....

Have you got any plans for the weekend ? The girls are going to Alton Towers (a theme park over here) tomorrow followed by a Christian concert there, so Paul and I may go for a meal and go to see SpiderMan 3

On Sat., we are going to go look at tractors...We still havent gotten one and my grass is starting to grow!...So Sats. the day!.....

My eldest DGDs (Julia(PansQT))16th Birthday is on Monday....So on Sunday we are taking her, her family and her best friend to "Kampi"..a Japanese steak house..She has always wanted to go...and is very excited ...Which of course makes me excited..
I just cant believe she is going to be 16 already!
Makes me feel like time is flying by. ..I guess allwe can do is sit
back and enjoy the ride!....Right?

So it looks like its gonna be a full weekend for us...I hear its gonna be nice and sunny too!
Its beautiful here today...Hope it is for you also!...

Paul & I went off to see Spider-Man 3 today, and we loved it. It was action packed, funny in parts and sad too - I would highly recommend it if you're a Spidey fan (it was much better than Spider-Man 2). After the cinema, we went for a lovely Indian meal - so we've had a lovely day while the girls were at Alton Towers

Had a busy day so far.

Yes, I was certainly soaking up all of the Florida sunshine that I could while I was there

It was great weather the whole time....temps in the mid 90's with sunshine.

I think I need some of that dessert you were having there

I saw Carnival's Legend (I think) of the Seas when we were in Tampa on Sunday. I was very very close to it and really wanted to get onboard, eventhough Carnival would not be my cruise line of choice.

I'm having a sad day today because we are looking into placement care options for my dad who has Alzheimers.

His care is getting to be too much for my mother and it's almost time for him to make the move.

It's not easy though because he doesn't want to go and doesn't think he needs to go

Aww, I'm thinking of you Robin while you have to make these difficult decisions.

We've had to move Paul's elderly aunt into a residential home earlier this year, and she was adamant that she wasn't leaving. Within a matter of days she loved people being around her all the time, having her food and washing done for her, and she has only just admitted that she couldn't cope at home. Although it was sad, it was such a relief to us that she moved as we were always worried if she had fallen or was poorly

I hope you get it all sorted soon

It is a very hard thing to go thru.

Life is so unfair isn't it?

You have poor little children who die an early death , before they even get to enjoy life and then you have the older ones who are forced to finish out their years in nursing homes.
