Hello everyone

I just got back from my DGDs concert...very nice!...

Robin!...Got the docs! ..Yea!.....
I hope I dont miss mine...Pkgs. get put in the oddest places here by the postal people when Im not home to recieve......Under my shed roof...below my stairs... ..I keep looking around every time I get home...I havent found anything yet..

I also got Einstein groomed..and then he went to his lesson..He did rather well I might add

Then I picked up a Christmas present for Mike....

and now Im finally home ...Im going to go veg with the DH...

Brittany is 13...I cant believe how much of a young lady she is...Boy they grow up sooooo fast!

We stayed in this same cabin before and we really enjoyed the feel of the sideways cabin. It won't bother us not to be upgraded, although I wouldn't turn an upgrade down.

Betsy, just think, everyday you can go on a document treasure hunt

I just realized tonight that I haven't really given any thought yet to what I'm going to pack.

and tomorrow I am going to my other three DGDs concerts in Their school...
its the elem. school....I just love to watch the little ones do their songs....Sooo cute!

I know what I would like to pack...I just have to figure out what Im willing to leave behind...or extend my vacation...Im a major overpacker...

Documents, documents everywhere

I know Mandy I'm used to getting those huge booklets, one for each passengers.

I used to just pull out the few necessary pages and leave the rest at home anyways.

I'm up early this morning because my kitchen light is finally supposed to be installed this morning. I'm not totally convinced the guy will actually show up but I'll be ready and waiting for him if he does.

It will be so nice to have light over the table.

Okay, I wanna know, who has started packing yet? I've made my list in excel for me and the kids as to what we are wearing when and highlighted the items that I still need to get but I haven't begun the actual packing process although I really want to. I have to be packed by next Friday because my parents are driving down and taking the bulk of our luggage so we don't have to struggle through the airport with 2 kids, a stroller, a carseat, etc. So I think I will get the suitcases down from the attic today and begin dealing with my HUGE mountain of laundry and see what can get packed. I am so excited!!!!!!

I'm sure you were happy to be back to your home church! I love to see all of the college guys/gals return to ours for the holidays! It's amazing how mature they've become since they've been gone

Did Mary play "Mary"? If so, how fitting!

Yes I loved geting to go back to church and see everyone. Mary actualy was a doctor of the christmas clinic. They used various patiants coming in to the clinic to illistrate the Christmas story. Chance was a wiseman. He looked adorable in the little crown. Last night we went Christmas Caroling around the neighborhood. Mom made little lovas of bread and we took one to each house. Everyone had fun including David and Joanna who didn't want to go. Tonight some members of the church are taking us out for our anual christmas tradition. They take all of us kids and we get our picture taken with Santa. Then we go out to eat. For the past few years we've gone to Chuck e Cheese's. I think we will actually have everyone in the picture this year.
My mom didn't feel like draging out all of the christmas boxes this year so were having a homemade christmas. The coolest thing is mom is making our stockings. Last night we went shopping and went to a fabric store and she let us pick out what fabric we wanted. I got a cool looking Mickey Mouse print. I think she is going to let me put the names on the stockings so that will be fun.

And MORE Docs....!.....Man now Im starting to get excited..I WANT MINE! ..I hope they come soon...

and I am like Kelly...
Im gathering everything on a cardtable...in the corner of my room....I like to see everything before I pack it into the bag...
Keeps me from having to go through it over and over again trying to make sure I didnt forget anything..Not only do I tend to over pack...But I tend to over plan...It drives my DH crazy...He just throws his stuff in a bag at the last min. Of course all he has to worry about is what he's going to wear..I take care of the rest...

Betsy, I tend to pack just like Mike.

The day before I start throwing stuff on the bed and then I pack it all in the case and I'm done.

I just have to make sure the laundry is all done before I start.

I've come to the realization that if I don't bring it we didn't need it or if we really do need it we will just buy one.

So far I've done okay with my last minute method.

The guy is here and has put up the light.

Now he is trying to fix the mess my brother made when he installed the other lights. They are on a two way switch but the switches don't work properly.

Poor guy has had more trouble trying to fix that problem than he did installing the light fixture.
