:welcome:Tiffany & family :welcome:

I'm Kelly and will be cruising with my DH (CW) & 2 kids (Chad almost 14 and Carolin 12 at saildate)! I'm also cruising with my parents & sisters (w/ their husband and kids)! And we are on deck 7 as well! :teeth:

We will be in Jacksonville the nite before the cruise, so good luck on finding something close by.

I look forward to chatting with you over the next several weeks before our saildate :cool1:

Thanks for the link Kelly, more great piccies

Is anyone doing any Cruise or Christmas shopping this weekend ?

The only thing we've got planned is for tomorrow night - hubby & I are going out for a meal while the girls are at a party

Have a fun weekend

Mandy :)

Hi All

Sorry I've been absent for a bit....busy, busy, busy!!! We'll Mary's and my cruise is PAID IN FULL!! :thumbsup2  Can you tell we are excited.

Tiffany welcome!! :wave2:

Not sure I'm concerned with the band thing either. With CD's you at least get to hear music you like....just an opinion. I hope to Karaoke lots!! :goodvibes

Mary and I are hoping to stay down at WDW the night before the cruise, but no definite plans yet :confused3

Kelly, where in Jacksonville will you be?? and for how long? We live in a suburb of Jax.

Well the sisters :dance3: are planning a trip to WDW Oct 29 and taking our parents!! We have booked at the Wilderness lodge!! :cheer2:

Well gotta get dinner ready for DH!! Chat more later :grouphug:

:welcome: :welcome: party:
Glad to have you along Tiffany!

My name is Jennifer. DH and I are going without kids. We'll be on Deck 7 too! My DH is a professor at the local university and I'm a Travel Agent. (Need a good travel agent? PM me!) We have three kids (8, 5, and 2) the youngest is a boy. I also have two princesses! Grammy and Pa Pa will be keeping the kids while we sail!!!

I cannot wait to get on this cruise.

I've been absent a few days. sorry.

Okay, How's everyone's weight-loss going? I've lost track of my exercie hours, but I'm doing okay.

We were going to move next week, but now it looks like it will be the 23rd. ughhh. I just had not been able to get in touch with anyone from the moving company. I hate to wait another single day.

By the time the cruise gets here, I will BE READY!!!!

Hey, If anyone is not going to re-book on board (or not rebook as many rooms as you could -- you can book up to 1 stateroom for each person sailing) PLEASE PM ME.

We're doing a family reunion next Thanksgiving and I would love to book for a couple of my cousins and get the onboard booking credit. We just didn't know to do that while we were on our last cruise.

DH and I are a small party this time. I can only book 2 upcoming staterooms. I may need as many as 5 more rooms. So, if you won't be utlizing all the staterooms you could, I'd apreciate your help. If it's like the last time I was onboard, I would just need the name of the guest thats not using the re-booking opportunity (and maybe the cabin number).

okay, my son is into something...gotta run. :furious:

pirate: Ahoy Shipmates !!

Sue ~ it's great to hear from you, I hope all the sisters are well. how lucky you are to be popping over to WDW, are you going to MNSSHP ? I know a few people who have been and they said it was great.

Great news that you have paid your cruise off

Jennifer ~ I am still exercising and eating well, but I just can't seem to shift any weight, nevermind, I'll keep going and hopefully I'll lose some more soon

Robin ~ I hope you are having a fab break, when are you getting home (maybe today or tomorrow ??), enjoy your last day or so

Everyone ~ Have a great weekend

Mandy :)

I did read something about the passports now not being needed...Of course that was AFTER I already got ours ...
Oh well maybe Ill need it for other trips... :thumbsup2 ..
I dont think so, but ya never know :teeth:
Well, I'm a little bummed a spent all those $'s getting 5 passports. Now I need to guilt my DH into taking us somewhere where we will need them! :rotfl:

Thanks for all the wonderful comments on Coras new cut and her donation.
Also, thanks for the praise in raising her  , but I truely believe she has an old soul and she just knows what to do with minimal guidance from her father and I. Cora is still stopping at every mirror to admire her new cut. :rotfl:
Friday at assembly at school she was honored as a terrific kid. It's a Kiwanis sponsered program and each week a child is chose from each class to be honored. Every child gets an opportunity to be honored throughout the year at least once, most twice. This honor is not taken lightly by Cora. She is going to bed extra early to make sure she gets enough rest to be a good role model at school. :lmao:

I'm not sure NOT having a live band all the time will affect me that much on the cruise. I would have enjoyed one at the sailaway party and also steel drums near the pool sounds nice. But the rest of the time....I imagine I'll be too busy to really notice. DH and I did enjoy a piano player in the certum lounge on our RCCL cruise. It was nice to grap a drink, a comfy chair and just listen to music or talk with fellow cruisers. I know that live bands or not, I will have a wonderful time on this vacation. Besides, no live band means more live entertainment from the sisters, right? :dance3:

 everyone.

I'm back...... bet you didn't figure that one out did ya :p

Actually we got back about 11pm last night.

Florida was great, nice warm weather, not sunny all the time but still warm. Didn't see nor feel a single raindrop.

I just kept mourning the fact that I wasn't at Disney :sad2: Do you know how hard it is to be in the same area and not go to Disney :guilty:

Actually we made it to the Disney property in our last hours in Orlando. We went for lunch at the Wilderness Lodge. :thumbsup2 At least I got to set foot on the property finally ;)

Oh yes, exciting news while I was away.

My son got engaged yesterday :lovestruc

It was the 5th anniversary of the year they started dating. They started dating quite young. He was 18 and she was 14, they are now 23 and 19 on the 18th of November. Funny huh, both their birthdays are on the same day :p

No wedding plans or dates that I know of yet. I haven't seen him yet since I got home because he was off visiting with his girlfriend in Ottawa.

I don't know if I mentioned here or not but my son is a paramedic (also a nurse) and has accepted a job that is 20 hours driving time away from home. Way in the northern part of Ontario :guilty: almost as far as the end of the roads go.

Yikes, I'll miss him but I wish him well. He's always wanted to try going someplace remote and being the primary health care person. Now is his chance before life gets in the way (wife, kids etc.)

:wave2: Welcome home Robin, glad you got home safely and I'm pleased that you had such a good time. I can imagine it must've been very hard not being able to get to the parks, I would've Had to get to DownTown Disney at least :rotfl2:

:cheer2: Congratulations to your DS and his wife to be on their engagement :cheer2:

I hope we get to see some piccies from your break

Mandy :)

Hi again All

How many of you will be in WDW before your cruise?

Since most will not be there afterwards I may plan to go to my Surf Expo early instead of staying after...Betsy is and Robin most likely will be there. Who up for an impromptu pre-cruise mini-meet?

and Mandy...

I'd like to see your cruise piccies too please, can you post us a link here?
