Suzi,
Great pictures...

You have three brother and two sisters?...How cool!...And you are the oldest?...Do you mind being the oldest?....My DGD is getting to not like it so much...She has to babysit alot...But I know she just loves her sisters to pieces...and I can see them all being the best of friends when they are all older.... :cloud9:
Are Devin and Mary twins?...You have a very nice looking family :thumbsup2
Thanks for showing them to us...I love to see pictures....
If you would like to see some of my pics., there is a link in my sig... ;)

Well you'll see more family pictures If you go here

http://www.blogger.com/profile/3422177

and then hit "Pictures from home"

Yes I am the oldest. I love it but I can relate to the babysitting thing. I did a lot of that. :rotfl: As for Mary and Devin that's where things get a little complacatid. But better to explain it once here and not have to repeat it over and over again. Devin and Chance are both adopted. They are biological brothers and we got them as foster kids when Chance was almost one and Devin was three. It was supposed to be a temperary placement untill there bio parents got their act together. Needless to say they didn't and I'm glad because I fell in love with those boys the moment they walk through the door. They've been living with us for seven years now. Devin is three months older then Mary but Mary is taller. Chance is actually taller then Devin. (or was the last time I saw them. They are under strict orders not to grow untill I see them.) Apperently Devin takes after his bio dad and Chance takes after his Bio mom. Really the only time I even think of them as being adopted is when I have to explain about Mary and Devin. They are a big part of are family and I love them to death.
Love Suzi

Hi Mandy,

It is nice to meet you. I will be cruisin' with my husband Greg and two children Stella (7) and Jacob (6). We are all very excited about going. This will also be the second time for me because I went with Kelly on her first cruise. I am glad to finally be here.

Paula :-)

Woo hoo! I am here. However, I have not a clue how to relply without the quick reply. Therefore I don't have any cool expressions like smiley faces to put in :-(
Maybe you could give me a tip on how to reply other than the quick reply.

Everyone is so nice here!

Love Ya,
Paula

Hello, thanks for the warm welcome :-) I am sure we are going to have a blast!! I must say I am lucky to have a sweet sis. I can't wait till it's time to cruise.

Hi Paula

On the left side right underneath the last post on the page is a blueish coloured (<~~ I am Canadian, hence the u in coloured :smooth: ) button that says post reply. Click on it and you should get a bunch of smilies on the right hand side of the posting box.

:cheer2:

Suzi - what a lovely 'big sister' you are, it's obvious that you love the boys to bits

Paula - I hope you have a lot of fun on here

Robin - Are you set for your week away? I hope you have a great time :)

Everyone - how have your weigh-ins been this week? Have you had a good week? I'm a bit disappointed that I have stayed the same. Nevermind, at least I didn't put on

Has anyone got anything nice planned for the weekend? I don't think we have

Have fun whatever you're doing

Mandy :)

Morning Mandy.

I am mentally ready for my trip but I need to do a ton of things before I'm actually ready to leave. I'm leaving tomorrow late afternoon sometime. I dont' want to drive in Detroit by myself after dark, so I'm aiming to get to a motel while it's still light out. Detroit can be a dangerous place but the part I'm going on is all major highways and only about 1/2 hour away from the border. I'm not nervous about it but just not taking any unnecessary chances.

Unfortunately I've come down with a bit of a cold :sad2: Doesn't matter, if I have to recover somewhere it might as well be in sunny Florida.

My weigh in today turned out how I expected it  I'm down a half a pound BUT on Tuesday I was down another full pound that miraculously appears back on weigh in day :p

Aww... ! Thanks girl!

Paula is alot like me, I'm sure you guys will see that! Wait til you meet us, mom definately marked us well! Everywhere we go, we have people we don't know walk up to us and say "You've got to be Linda's daughter".

We are mighty proud of that... mom's our "angel" !

I usually buy a tshirt while I'm onboard. Unless there really is nothing that I like but since none of my old tshirts fit, I'm sure I'll find something on this cruise.

I also buy the embarkation photo at the very least. It's kind of like a record of cruises taken and you can see the passing years. One year though they put the wrong date on it :sad2: They forgot to change the year since it was early January. They offered to take them again with the proper year but I didn't bother, just bought the one with the wrong date on it. :p

I plan on buying one photo for myself. I'm sure the kids will get a t-shirt each and maybe a small trinket of some sort. I know from experience that they think they want something really bad, and when they get it they play with it for a short time, then it gets lost in the tornado effect their rooms possess. :confused3

When I was in Puerto Rico at the fort, I was able to purchase some view finder cards of the island. That was a cool souvie. Randall took then to school to show the kids with his own view finder. I wish I could find something like this for other places we visit.

Morning Mandy & Robin :wave2: and to the rest of you who are just peeking in!

Weigh in Friday... I've lost another pound so altogether (I'm gonna go from my official start time) I've gotten rid of 4 lbs. If I can tone up and lose 2 more lbs... I'll be satisfied :thumbsup2

Robin, I hope the vacation and sunny, warmer weather makes you feel better :flower3: We'll miss chatting with you next week!

Mandy, just about every month we do all of the current month's birthdays on one day on my side of the family. Carolin and Paula's DD are the birthday girls for this month, so we are having a party at the bowling alley tommorrow  I'm so excited, I haven't bowled in awhile :cloud9:

Okay... can I brag for a moment :o I'm so proud of Chad! They had two games this week and won both  He played very well at the first game, but shined alot in the second. He did a slide tackle to keep the ball from going in the goal, had perfect timing and he came out of nowhere! It was a nice play. PLUS... yesterday was interim report day, straight A's from Carolin and Chad didn't get anything below a C (2 - C's and the rest A's & B's)! I'll take that! :teeth:

You scrapbook?

Not a veteran scrapbooker! I'm getting into it more, I've even bought more supplies so I can admire them from afar for now :rotfl:

Wendy... will you be the one to kick me in my booty to get me going and finish what I started?? ;) :rotfl2:

I'm always teasing my sisters that I am the favorite daughter too!! We only have one brother and my mom kinda prefers boys, but as far as girls go, I know I'm the fav!! My mom once told me that of all us kids (there's 5 plus my niece that they raised) my sister Kelly and I are the ones she worries the least about. Kelly and I are very similar, and apparantly have our heads on straight according to Mom. My brother is SPOILED, SPOILED, SPOILED, and can do no wrong, but he is the best brother ever so it's okay, He's the oldest, 11 yrs older than me, and I'm the youngest of the original 5. Everyone likes my brother, I swear, they really do. He's just one of those people. My mother sees alot of my brother in Randall. I do to. Some of it even good stuff!! :rotfl:

:cheer2: :cheer2: Well done to Chad and Carolin on their grades, that's great news and it sounds like Chad is doing very well with his sport too :cheer2: :cheer2:

Are you still hoping to go and see 'our' ship this weekend ??
