Robin~ that's great news! This new check in seems to be a breeze! I'm a h.u.g.e. procrastinator... except when it comes to my vacations. That's why I've been designated to be the travel coordinator for my family Maybe I'll get a button outta this one

Well.... what an exciting weekend we had Friday we hung out at home, Saturday we went to the movies to see You, Me & Dupree, & Sunday we went to the beach, then to a pool party, and ended the day at the ER (no George Clooney there though )

Chad was in the pool one minute, then the next decides to do acrobatic flips on a trampoline to impress some girls at the party Wet feet +trampoline + over confident teen boy = busted up face.

Mr. Macho did a flip in the air, then attempted the second one and came down on his face hitting the bar on the edge of the trampoline. Chad's teeth went through the area between his lip and chin He has braces and the a couple of wires popped off and went into his lip.

To sum it up... two stitches (I couldn't watch, DH and I almost ) two chipped teeth, a hole still inside his bottom lip, 3 teeth on bottom out of line, missing wires from braces (which I believe saved him from losing teeth)

They scare me too! The kids have been begging for one for years, I don't want one I couldn't believe him when he asked the doc if he could watch him stitch his chin up

Like you said it could have been worse... what if he had missed the trampoline and hit the ground wrong

Poor you for having to witness all that and poor Chad for being a typical silly male creature

I hope he feels better soon. At least he can try and get some sympathy from the girls for his injuries. No kisses to make it better though, cause that would probably hurt an awful lot right now

I'll pass on the well wishes, thanks We got back early enough before all of the girls left and they ran up to the truck all excited to see him! I saw him smile a little! Even the older guys that were still left crowded around him patting him on the back and telling their stories...

I just hope this doesn't encourage him

Kelly- OMG.....I got goosebumbs thinking about Chad's ordeal! Tell him I'm thinking of him, and one episode like this will be "THE STORY" to tell for a Loooooooonnng time, no need for similar ones. Hope the braces deal goes smoothly.
DH says all the time that Randall and our dog, Cooper, have more testosterone than we need at our house.

Mostly it was great to see our son again, it was 7 weeks since we had last seen him. He's looking good, growing his beard for the summer. Typical son fashion he sent home 2 pairs of his shorts for me to fix and mail back to him this week

There's nothing like a mom and her son!

Just like a boy to send home mending to be mailed back.
Actually, now that I think about it, I would do that to my mom too!

Glad to have you back and posting from your comfort place. It's just not the same posting from DH's work, at least it isn't from me.
I do need to use the work computer Fri to fill out some passport forms online. My laptop is not hookedup to a printer so I'll just do it there. I have all documents except DH's SS card.

Good morning DW cruisers! Has anyone seen the news of the Crown Princess? Poor folks, I'm sure that was a scary moment! Especially for parents whose children weren't right there with them

Guess what..... DH asked me to go to the county to file his passport application! Finally! It's funny, last time I went, the ladies in the office were talking about knowing me when I was knee high... now the lady taking DH's passport starts talking about knowing his family! Kinda scary how many people know each other in our area

Well, off I go to start bugging my sisters about their passports

Cora is standing on a rock in the middle of the river. She thinks she is supergirl or something.

Randall is floating down the current. They thought this was way cool. DH is just out of view of my picture, but he is there to catch them. I have lots more pictures, I'll post a few more later. They had such a good time!

Ive been really busy lately...Yesterday was my and DHs 33erd Ann. ....and we saw POC2...VERY good....and went to a nice steakhouse for dinner....THey had the BEST onion soup!...YUM..

YEAH!

Now I have to wait.... ..They said 6 weeks
