I was checking my thread for the Jan 09 cruise and so far we've got the ship to ourselves... Wouldn't that be great?

Kelly, the last time I flew you had to shut off all receiving devices like cell phones.

So I don't know if you could use the internet or not.

I did see something recently about internet onboard planes but I'm not sure if it is available or not.

...... hmmm, I wonder if I could get Rick to book onboard for 2009

I'd really like to go on one of the inaugural cruises for the new Disney ships.

I know they won't be out until 2011 or 2012 but I think it'd be really neat.

It's Paul's birthday tomorrow, we haven't got any plans at the moment, but I guess we'll probably go out for a meal sometime

Thanks for the info Robin! I saw a couple of laptops out on our last flight but they were playing solitaire or watching a dvd... didn't see any internet connections.

Hey Girls

Thank you for all of Paul's birthday wishes, we're going out to lunch soon and then all of us are going out for dinner tomorrow (saves me cooking - yay )

Do you want to hear something funny ? I received a card this morning from the US, I thought it must've been a late Birthday card, but no, it was a Christmas Card - from you Kelly. It was funny because my address was perfect - except for the Canada bit at the end It was posted on the 12th December, and it must've gone to Canada where someone crossed it out and put England on it. So thank you Kelly for my Christmas Card - I know I love Christmas, but that's the first Christmas Card that I've received for 2008

I'm so pleased that Chad is feeling better, I hate it when the kids are poorly, I would always prefer to take their place and see them messing around and driving me nuts

We had a lovely lunch thanks, I had mushroom lasagne and Paul had a normal lasagne, and we had garlic bread and roasted herb potatoes - Mmmmm

I'm trying to fight off a little cold here

Hopeing it will go away real soon and that no one else gets it.

My Subway kitty is not doing well.

He is acting very listless, sleeping alot, not eating much that I can tell

He's 15 1/2 and I think this might not be a happy week around this house

On a happier note........

My new furniture for the basement is supposed to be delivered on Wednesday
