Robin, I hope Subway kitty starts feeling better soon I am so sorry to hear she isn't well. I've been worried about one of our dogs who will be 15 next month. She tends to go into deep sleeps and hasn't been eating well for awhile now. She's a tough gal though, she tries to keep up with the younger ones!

Mandy, all this talk about lasagne and Robin talking about buffets... my stomach is growling!! Glad Paul had a great birthday weekend!

Betsy, what a cute pic of your dgd!! And Albert... it's almost like he knows to strike a pose for the camera when you pull it out!!

Hey Girls

Well once again it's been raining all day (will the Spring ever come ?)

Tomorrow night we're all going to see the Spice Girls in London, we're really excited about it - I can't wait. We're only going down for the concert, but then next week the girls are going with a friend to see the Spice Girls again and then stopping in London overnight (lucky things)

Robin - I was being nosy and lurking on your Cruise thread, I see that your docs have arrived - how exciting - I love getting any kind of post from DCL

Hey Mandy, it's okay to be nosy and lurk over there.

Heck I did it with the cruise threads for several weeks before ours Just checking to see where they were on sending out the documents

I know.... we are nothing if we are not obsessive about our Disney cruising

I've been dealing with a cold here for the past few days and I hope that I will soon start feeling better.

Also been dealing with a sick kitty.

He is at the vet right now and they think they know what is wrong with him. He has FIV which is apparently the equivalent to cat AIDS. They get it from another cat who has it, usually from puncture wounds. In his younger days he was involved in quite a few altercations. He's not been as bad for the past several years.

He could have had it for a long time or maybe just got it No way of knowing.

When I took him to the vet this morning he started eating like crazy. I had brought some treats to try and tempt him and then they said when they put him in the cage in the back he was eating like he hadn't eaten in days.... which he hadn't.

Silly boy.

Just waiting now to hear from the vet. They are finishing up a few blood tests to see if they can figure out maybe what is ailing him right now.

Then I will be able to go and pick him up and bring him home.

He will be much happier for sure.

Mandy... you lucky gal!! I love the Spice Girls! I was cheering for Mel B when she was on Dancing with the Stars! If you get any pics... please post! I'm sure the girls will have a blast!!

Robin... here's some well wishes for you I hope you start feeling much better soon! Just think, this will be you in about a week ---> Please give kitty a hug , I hope he's back to his old self again soon!

We were teased yesterday with a little snow! It was snowing so hard visibility had dropped to less than a mile. It covered the ground enough to fool the kids into thinking today would be a snow day... no such luck!

Yeah(last summer).....It hurts ...BUT you get drugs

Trouble is the drugs made me want to sleep all the time, so I stopped taking them...

Hey Girls

We had a brilliant time at the Spice Girls concert, I've copied and pasted what I posted on the UK Community

We had a fab time last night, and it was probably one of the best concerts I've ever been to

We left here around 2.30pm and sailed down to London, and only really hit traffic once we hit the Blackwall Tunnel. We had pre-booked our car park, and parked near the exit and got into the O2 around 5.15pm. We went to the souvenir shop where the girls bought posters, fingerless gloves and a t-shirt.

It was time for dinner, but the queue for Frankie & Benny's was 50 minutes , so we went to the Water Margin, an Oriental all you can eat buffet, which was really nice

We had a wander around and went up to the Arena to find our seats. We were really impressed with the venue, it wasn't as big as we thought it was going to be, and we were happy with our seats. We got seated around 7.30pm and at one stage there was a big commotion near the stage, but we couldn't see who was there.

The Spice Girls came on around 8.20pm and we were up on our feet having a good old boogie right from the beginning. They looked great and they sounded fab too. All the girls except Posh did a solo, (though she did do a cool catwalk kind of scene which sent everyone crazy) and I was really surprised that whenever Victoria sang on her own, the crowd went mad

Later in the evening, they sang Mama, and then the cameras went onto David Beckham and a couple of their kids and once again everyone went mad, which was the reason for the commotion earlier (I couldn't believe I was only yards away from him )

Anyway they sang all their hits and it really was a great night. It finished around 10.15pm, and we were surprised at how quick we got out, and we were on our way home by 10.45pm and we got home around 12.15am (and in bed by 12.30am)

My girls are off to see them again next week with their friend, and I am so jealous I would love to go and see them again

It really was a fab night

It's so funny you guys are talking about toothaches and whatnot... not ha ha funny but odd...

I was awake most of the night with a toothache, I had a teeny-tiny panic attack thinking about going back to the dentist... the sound of that drill popped up in my head and made things worst! I am such a big baby

Good luck with your appointment I hate going, I'll be thinking of you all day on the 4th Robin!!

I'm feeling quite a lot better now.

Yesterday was the first day that I wasn't stuffed up and I did not need to use any nose spray all day long

Kelly, tooth aches are no fun. My tooth hurts everytime I touch it, so it's greatly affecting my life.

I protect it when I talk. I can't chew on that side.

In a way I'll be glad when it's gone and I can return to a new normal way of life.

Mandy, I like weekends too but they are usually when I get most of my housework done. I especially use them to do laundry.

It has gotten cold here again

Stop, stop !! don't talk about dentists, I am such a wuss when it comes to the dentist, and I will suffer the pain for weeks before thinking of going.

Robin - When are you having it taken out ? I hope it's before your holiday. Are you packed yet ?

Kelly - how are Chad and Carolin, what have they got planned for the weekend ? Kerry and Becky are so excited about seeing the Spice Girls again on Tuesday, and then stopping overnight in London. I'm not sure what their friend's mum and dad have got planned for them, but I'm sure they'll be some shopping involved

Betsy - Have you been poorly ? I hope you're feeling better now
