Morning ladies

It was Alberts 2nd birthday yesterday...and we had the DGKs(sunday)...So we gave him a nice party....He had a turkey meatball, with cheezewhiz as frosting for his cake
We gave him a toy and a fresh beef bone...So he was a happy pup..

We also bought new kitchen cabnets...They are a darker wood(maple) then the oak ceiling and trim...but the price was right and I like the contrast....Ill show picture when everythings all done.....

THEN we have my DSis, and DBIL,DN, over and have an adult Christmas dinner in the evening. ..Nice and quiet...

It's been a busy day, and unfortunately it wasn't a fun shopping day, just boring groceries. Kerry chose some nice glasses after her eye test, they should be ready on Wednesday

I wouldn't say that I'm having an exciting day but it's been okay.

I've been helping one of our travelmates from our upcoming cruise to make their travel plans....... rental car, flights, hotels etc.

It's been fun. We've been doing it mainly by email.

I went to work and got something done that has been hanging around waiting to be finished for a long time.

I'm cooking a bit of dinner, just Rick and I home right now, and then it's dance class night.

The neighbour has his garbage right beside my car door again this morning

Maybe I will go out and move it a few feet further into the middle of the road before I move my car

I've got a nice day to myself today. I'm going to have a wander around town and I'm Christmas tree hunting too (as I need it for a week on Saturday) and then I am going to chill out DISing and watching TV for the rest of the day - and I can't wait

Well, I'm happy to say that I've had a productive day for a change.

I got the lawn cut, some landscape trimming done, garage straightening, beverage fridge restocking etc done today.

I feel like I've done my duty for today.

It was a beautiful day outside and I'm glad that I got to enjoy some of it, even if I was pushing a lawnmower.

I wish it was as nice over here, the weather is really cold at the moment and we're in for some thick fog tomorrow (yuck, I hate the Winter)

Im sorry I didnt get on yesterday....I was busy cleaning and getting my kitchen in order....
Its rainny here today, but still quite warm....for Nov.
and its my Thurs. .....Sooo Ill be on the run today....Its Davids turn to go with me today...He's a cutie...and very good...Well they are all very good when they spend the day with me...If they are not...they dont get their prize...( I let them buy something at the store, as long as they have behaved for the day)...I have NEVER had to,not let them get their prize...

I did get a small chance to look at hawaii a little on the PC( We are thinking of going there for our 09 trip..But not sure yet...)....WOW its an expensive vaca ....I DID find a couple of all inclusive deals that were'nt to bad....But Id kind of like to see more then one island.... not that I know which ones Im interested in... Oh well its wont be for 2 years IF we go, so I have time to research..
Has any of you gone to hawaii???...Is there any Island that you would suggest?....Any place you stayed that you think was a good deal???.
Im thinking maybe the kona coast on the big island, and maybe Maui...But I just dont know .....I DO know I want to stay away from cities, and very populated places..No touristy things...Just a quiet slice of good snorkling beach, maybe some horseback riding, hiking,...that kind of thing...Im not much of a nightlife person...unless its sitting on the beach, watching the moonrise... ...with a glass of wine, or fruity rummy drink....

Well I dont really even know what you all have been up to...
So Ill go now..and check it out....

We've had a touch of Winter here today, it was so frosty and foggy this morning - but now (thankfully) it is just cold and sunny

I can't blame you for thinking of vacations when the weather isn't very nice Betsy, and I am so jealous that you are thinking of going to Hawaii. I would love to go there, and I would be even more interested if one of the new Disney ships goes there in a few years time. Have fun planning your trip Betsy.

Woohoo !! It's nearly the weekend again

I can't believe that another week has raced by. I've got nothing planned for today as I've got to stay in and wait for a delivery for Paul (boring !!)

I'm hoping to get my Christmas tree and lights over the weekend, and then I'll put it up next weekend

Have you got any plans for the weekend ?

Are you looking forward to Thanksgiving next week ? What are you hoping to do ? I wish we celebrated Thanksgiving

There was me thinking that I was going to have a boring day, when I received a fab pressie through the post

We are holding a Secret Christmas Decoration exchange over on the UK Community Board and I received a lovely DLP Mickey & Minnie ornament, a little bottle of White Zinfandel, a couple of Crimbo Yankee Candles, a pack of Belgian Chocolate Stirrers and a little box of Lindor Choccies

Aren't they fab ? I'm thrilled to bits and very lucky

We made it back safely and had fun! I've got some pics I'll share when I charge my camera battery I'll probably post em tommorrow since Chad has a soccer game tonight!

Sorry to cut this short, my BIL's father passed while we were out to Seattle, it was expected... he has been battling cancer for awhile. I'm heading out for the funeral.

Well I stayed in all day for Paul's delivery, and would you believe that when Paul rang them, they've got a problems and it isn't coming till Monday now (which is my busiest day of the week, so no doubt they'll leave a card for me) - it is so annoying

Nevermind, it's the weekend now, so I don't care
