7th January 2007, 4 Night Wonder Cruise

On a sadder note, my brother's dog died this morning.

Cash was a boxer with a great nature and personality.

He attended all family get togethers and we all loved him a lot.

I don't know exactly how old he was but he did have a heart condition and had lived a lot longer than was originally expected.

He will be greatly missed.

Made my reservations for Palo brunch last night.

We were only offered two times 10 or 10:30.

Other people are reporting getting other times but maybe they were only booking for 2 and I had to book for 4 people

Robin... pass on my sympathy! It's amazing how close we can get to our pets. I had a boxer named Chelsea and she was in love with Chad. She protected our family and loved as much as we loved her. Boxers are great dogs I really feel for you guys

Carolin found out yesterday she made captain of the cheerleading team. She is so excited, her first game is this afternoon... then we'll run over to the school next door and catch Chad's football game! I got a few pics of his last game, I can't remember if I posted them or not.... Where has my mind gone?

Paul & I went to Frankie & Benny's, it's an Italian/American kind of restaurant where they play lots of old Dean Martin/Nat King Cole/50's/60's music - I love it there and the food is delish. Paul had a lasagne and I had a mushroom lasagne with lots of garlic bread (just as well both of us ate it )

Chad is finished with his outdoor session, he starts his new indoor session this Friday if the schedule is correct!

Thanks for the sympathies on the dog.

You know every now and then a special dog will come along. I know they are all special but some "shine" more than the others. Cash was one of those special ones.

Congrats to Carolin. She must be sooooo excited.

All I can say is OUCH to Chad. That one hit looks like it would hurt.

Betsy... what a creepy message Loved it and the youtube video as well How neat to be able to paint like that and with both hands It was very moving!

Chad took a pretty good hit last night at the football game... he plays on defense as safety, so his responsibility is to make sure the guy with the ball doesn't pass him. Well... he zoned in on the guy with the ball... ran to the front line (where all of the defensive front line and offensive front line is) and made a tackle.

Next thing I know, I saw a wave of football players come towards him to help make sure the guy stays down. He ended up at the bottom of a pile big players He was ok and proud Wish I caught that pic

I spent about 3 hours wrapping all my Christmas presents up today, my back is really aching now from leaning over them, but they're all done now and look so nice

Kelly, I would have preferred to have your hot dog for dinner last night.

We ended up having fish and I really do not like fish. The rest was okay though, we had rice, baked beans and corn with the fish.

Job well done Mandy. Isn't it lovely when you can look at something and see the results of your hard work

We have something in common, Robin! I'm not much of a fish person either... I will order salmon from restaurants (if it's cooked the right way). I use to like drumfish but not really anymore

Poor Mandy... hope your back feels better I don't like wrapping presents unless they are squared boxes But I do like sitting back and looking at the wrapped presents under the tree!
