Happy Valentines Day Everyone !!

 Hope you all have a lovely day

Okay, I've got kind of a silly question, Im afraid of how silly I might look if I don't ask it. I understand the rotational dining thing for dinner in the evening., but what about breakfast and lunch. Just go wherever you want for those meals? anybody got any favorites for breakfast? Everyone in my family is big on breakfast foods except me. I really like fruit and a croissant or scone, but again, everyone else loves everything about breakfast.

I think the kids are starting to suspect something, I spend too much time checking out the stuff at WDW and also the cruiseline. They're always commenting on something they see on my computer screen...I'm getting really good at acting stupid about it though!I guess that just comes naturally to some of us. :confused3

Well, I'm glad to see you have all met Kayla. She's a good girl. She registered for the DIS yesturday and has been quite busy trying to find someone around her age going in Jan. She's had fun on the teen boards with some of the games they play there. We haven't told the younger kids about the trip yet as it's too far away to tempt them with it. We had to tell her due to her classes and all. She seems to be quite excited and if she thinks it'll be fun, I know the younger ones will be on :cloud9: !!!

I forgot my dd's valentines party at preschool was today so at 5:30 this morning I was up helping her make valentines and molding chocolate hearts for her classmates. I was good and only sampled one. (and that one was deformed)
Happy Valentines Day everybody!!
Wendy :sunny:

They are going to find out!! Everytime they go over to your computer your looking at stuff. :surfweb: You gotta remember how smart your children are :) ! I was looking up stuff you can do while on the cruise today.. and i need to stop that, because its only making me want to go more.. and well its much to far away to, and too long of a wait to be this excited! :teeth:

I know that you can go to some of the restaurants for a sit down breakfast, but we always go to the Beach Blanket Buffet for both breakfast and lunch, where you can help yourself to hot and cold food. I think that one of the restaurants is open for lunch too, but we've never used them

Seems funny having you and I responding to the same threads....Your all grown up now. I think I'm gonna get a little "teary-eyed". :guilty:

Believe me, I get a wake up call at least once a week at how very smart each of you kids really are!!
NOW GO DO YOUR HOMEWORK!!!

We did the same thing as Mandy except we ate one morning at Parrot Cay, it was nice for a change. We were seated next to a chef who made delicious omlets right there. He put on a pretty neat show flipping the pan and food around! :thumbsup2

Beach Blanket Buffet was buffet style and great when u r in a hurry! There is a great variety for breakfast (cereals, fruits, oatmeal, eggs, sausages, etc) in each place!

We ate lunch at Castaway Cay's Cookies and at the Blue Lagoon Beach for the Nassau excursion. One thing I can't complain about is the food we ate :p

I think you are going to end up spilling the beans, Wendy! Maybe the Easter bunny will spread the news! :smooth:

We tend to eat our breakfasts and lunches at Beach Blanket Buffet. There usually is good food there.

The breakfast seems to be the same every morning but there is a nice variety and you can get custom made omelets if you want. I also read that someone asked at the omelet station for plain fried eggs and was accommodated with that too. We did eat in the dining room one morning on our last cruise just to see the difference. It was okay too.

The lunch in the buffet changes in "theme" on a daily basis, so the food is different each day.

Usually if you look outside the restaurant or the BBB there is a menu posted for the meal that is being served at that time. If you don't like the posted menu in one, try looking at the other.

If you don't like either then I guess you get Pizza, or chicken fingers, or chicken burgers, or bratwursts or ice cream, or whatever else is available on deck......... OR room service ;)

.... and the best thing is that we will only have to lean over our verandahs to see each other as you're only 10 rooms away (here's a practice wave :wave2: - LOL)

Mandy :)

Mandy... I just can't help myself! :confused3 Had to post about the cruise! :rotfl2:

Okay... besides posting on this thread, what else has everyone done to prepare for the cruise here lately?

Me.... started on passports (ew, you should see my picture) :lmao:

Thanks Kelly, that has just reminded me that I must renew my passport this year. So far the only thing that I have done for the cruise is buy myself a nice black dress and a couple of dresses for the girls.

At the weekend we had the confirmation of the cruise sent from DCL, and in the letter was a postcard from Mickey & Minnie saying that they were looking forward to seeing us - I thought it was a lovely touch, considering they were reminding me of how much I owed :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

BTW - I did laugh at the 'G' that I added to the String on the word association game, and no it was nothing to do with Valentines Day as big Bridget Jones pants are more likely around here :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Too cute!

Good day all.

Been a busy day for me, eye doctors appointments, work.

We are having a thunderstorm this afternoon. All the better to melt those waist deep piles of snow in the backyard :umbrella:

I got that mailing today too with the postcard in it. :cheer2:

Hey Robin

It's a beautiful day here, sunny and 70. This is not normal... we have a chance for snow within the next 36 hrs. i think!

Hope all is well! I'm excited... tonite, our family is having a b-day dinner and the topic on the side is the great and almighty DW :cool1: :cool1:

Have a great day!

I'm glad that you are having a beautiful day there. Yesterday was like that here. Nice and warm , not really sunny but an all around nice day.

Today is not your typical Canadian winter day either :smooth: I'm not complaining though because I will take this weather over blizzards anyday. Actually where I am we don't tend to have a really severe winter. We get snow, yes and sometimes quite a lot of snow but it usually is here one day and gone in a day or 2. We also can get very cold temperatures at times.

Enjoy your dinner and your conversation.

I will be going to my famous dance class tonight (NOT the lap dance class either ;) ). Just tap class tonight, no hip hop because the hip hop teacher left today to go to Florida :teeth:
