7DMT with 1 adult and 3 kids?

They wouldn't let our kids sit together, even right in front of us, because DS was under 7. (They were 4 and 11) He had to sit with an adult.

But I think I've heard other people say they were able to, so it probably just depends on the CM you get, and how strict they are being.

But definitely take advantage of Child Swap!

I am sorry that happened to you. I wish Disney would not do that on the rides.

When I ride by myself or there are 3 of us, all over 7 :) , they have broken our group up completely to put kids we do not know with us.

We love children, but honestly, with the world we live it, that makes our group quite uncomfortable...especially my husband. My instinct is to try to ease the child's nerves if they seem nervous or speak to them, but I am hesitant to do so because we live in such a sue-happy and falsely accusing society.

This would make me incredibly uncomfortable.

Oh that would make me mad if they split us up to go with other kids!

And I am not by any means paranoid about my kids being with other adults, but if something were to go wrong on the ride, I would much rather my 5yo be with his 12yo sister than with a stranger. It just doesn't seem like a better situation to put them with random people.

I'm very hopeful you'll be just fine with one adult and 3 kids. We rode several times this way on our trip in February and were never questioned about our kids ages. At the time, our kids were 1, 2, 4, and 5. I would ride with one kid and the other 2 would ride together, in front or behind me. We would rider swap, since the 1yr old of course wasn't tall enough. My husband would take her on pooh, while I rode with the older kids, then he would ride with two of the others. With rider swap only 3 people can go the second time, so it would be the adult sitting alone and the 2 kids together. They let my 2 and 4yr olds ride together in front of me several times with no problem. Have a great trip!

I can see why Disney wouldn't want two preschoolers on a ride alone together, but I fail to understand how seating a random adult with a stranger's child is in any way a desirable outcome.

You and the 4 year old in one bucket and the 6 and 8 year old in another, preferably in front of you.

Having see this a few times - I agree with those that the general policy is that the kids can ride in the same vehicle with "vehicle" meaning a single car (even if multiple rows) where there is still some visual connection between the people. Note that for Toy Story - because of the odd nature of those vehicles - where you're seated back to back and have no possible interaction with the people behind you, that's not really considered the same vehicle even though technically it is. That being said - like many rules - there seems to be some inconsistency with application.
