Couldn't get a FP. Is it best to try for the stand by at RD? After the parade? We are going to MK Tues and I believe it is open til midnight or 1am. We plan on dining at Crystal Palace at 8:30 then touring a little more afterward. We don't have to be up early the next day so we will stay until we are all tired.

Would love to ride, but don't want to wait hours on end :).

Keep trying! I searched last night and was able to get one for next week at 6:00 - 7:00 pm. I had been looking a long time with no luck and it just popped up! My guess would be to do it at RD.

When we went late at night was best. 2+ hour waits all day. Dh and I both agreed after riding tk that we wouldn't wait more than 30-40min to ride it. Also if you do ride the back of the train is a much better ride than the front!

We were there last week and the wait time never went below 75 minutes, even during parades and wishes.

We are doing a last minute trip, so no FPs for us. The plan is to head straight for 7DMT at rope drop and hope for the best. All in all, I really think I am going to like MBs and FP+, but I am dreading having to jostle elbows with a hot and sweaty hoard of guests to start my trip. Not exactly magical. I do wish there were some way to get an FP for us folks who start our planning a bit later.

Our trip was last minute as well. We just couldn't snag passes for 5 people. The most the system would allot was 1. We didn't do rope drop yesterday and got to Fantasyland around 10a. The wait at that point was 90 minutes. At about 11:15 last night the wait was at 75, so we gave up :).

We rode it twice during the last half hour of operation a few weeks ago.

Keep in mind that the posted wait times are often greatly exaggerated late in the evening. Our posted time was 80 mins at 11:30 pm but the actual wait was only about 20 the first time and 10 for the 2nd trip.

There are a lot less people there at the end of the day. Rope drop just seems like chaos to me. I really feel that you can see twice the attractions in half the time late at night.

Get in line about 30 minutes before Wishes!

Yes, it was posted as a 75 min wait, and even when I questioned the CM about how accurate that was (she said very)
The line still didn't look like a 75 min wait, so I took my chance.

From the time I entered the line, to the time we exit....25 minutes!

We came out and Wishes was just starting.

Oh, we will definitely be closing MK a couple of nights. I am thinking we will wind up trying to get in 7DMT queue right at closing time

Rope Drop works if you go right away. We entered the park right at 9am and didn't need to rush. There are not as many FP's at that time, so until the FP line starts, the stand-by line moves fast.

Park Closing is also a good option. When MK closes at midnight, arrive as close to midnight as you like for the shortest line. If you want to ride twice, shoot for 11:30ish to ride and get back in line before midnight.
