7D ride photos?

So we went to MK Saturday and didn't have FP for 7D but rode at rope drop (ish). I was on the Disney photo pass website getting my download of our splash mountain ride (my sons first time riding) and I noticed that there are photos of us riding 7D and a video! How? We didn't scan anything. Kind of cool, but kind of freaky.

They started doing that in the last month. If you're wearing MBs, they upload directly to your account. It's convenient, but will also surely boost revenues. Didn't think you wanted a photo, but now that you see it at home, you want it? There you go.

You only need to have a Magicband on, not scanned for a Fastpass, for ride photos to be automatically uploaded to your acct. They have some type of long range RIF reader in some of the rides now.

Disney Magic. We were there the 2nd week of October- most of the places where they had ride photos, when I went up to the counter they would just ask if I had memory maker, and when I said yes, they would tell me I did not even need to scan my band. I think there was only one we hit that I had to scan- can't remember which one- Buzz maybe? Seems like I saw an article about a week or so ago- that they have all gone to no need to scan now.
