Trying to finalize plans for this week's trip and was wondering if A&E meet during the 7am EHM (or is that a regular park hour event). I am thinking we could try to knock that out first thing, maybe even do 7DMT in that 1st hour as well.

We have FP scheduled for both A&E/7DMT after our BoG lunch, which is great but it would be ideal if we could knock those out in the EMH morning so we can leave MK earlier due to crowds.

That early morning MK adrenaline rush is already building :yay:

**whoops EMH not EHM

I'm also interested in the answer - we're looking at the same line up next month!!!:wizard:

We are headed the 7-12th. The 7am EMH the Thursday we are there is throwing me off. It still looks like everything is opening at 8. So my guess is A&E will not be there until 8. This latest change has really messed up a lot of my plans. Trying to go with the flow, but super hard with 3 little people!

You stated in the other thread you started that you would not/could not do a 7 AM EMH. You said it was too much for your 3 little ones. Have you changed your mind? Maybe you want to update your other question so you get the advice you seek.

Someone posted on another thread that during 7am EMH, A&E will meet at 8. If one wanted to meet them then, I would head there straight at 7

We will also be there for 7AM EMH on Thursday. Personally, if I had FP+ for A&E and 7DMT for later I would keep those and bust out as much as you can in FL and TL during the first 2 hours or so before the crowds get in.

Even at Christmas time, we have done 5-6 attractions during the 7AM hour. If you keep moving, you could get up to near 10 attractions or so by 9AM.

I'll triple check that morning but that really is the best plan if A&E is a must-do for anyone without FP. But ugh what a time-kill for that 1st hour!

It's tempting to get A&E out of the way as early as possible because the thought of the crowds after lunch :scared: But I am more leaning with your idea; we can do so much before our 11:30 BoG lunch, then take it down a notch with the 3 FP afterwards. We don't usually stay in any one park from EMH to later afternoon but this Thursday may be the exception. It will be MK Friday late afternoon for a few more rides (FP) and castle lighting so
Thanksgiving will be MK-heavy and Friday more chilled:)

Nope, we aren't. :) the 7am change is just throwing me off my planning. My boys are 5,3, and 1 so minimizing waits is super important to avoid meltdowns that's all. :)

Our approach to 7 AM EMH at MK (pre 7DMT) has always been to start with Space Mountain, go to Buzz because it's close by, hit a couple quick rides in Fantasyland, then go to Peter Pan at about 7:40, where the wait is usually about 10-20 minutes. When we get done with PP we exit through Liberty Square as it opens and go, in some order, to Splash Mountain, BTMRR, POC, JC, and HM. There's something special about walking through a virtually deserted Frontierland, sometimes stopping for a snack, knowing that in a few hours the area will be shoulder to shoulder people.

By doing that, we have usually been able to complete at least 10 rides, including the 8 most popular ones in the park, before 10 AM. Then we slow down and do a few secondary attractions (like IASW) before an early lunch. At Christmas we like to stick around for the 12:30 parade, which last year actually stepped off about 15 minutes early.

After the parade, we are usually ready for a break from the park. Last year with FP+ we were able to go to a second park at about 4 PM and we had our FPs set up there. I remember looking at MDE while sitting on the balcony of our resort room and figuring that the attractions we had done in 3 hours in the morning then had an aggregate wait time of about 18 hours.
