7am call for Castle breakfast?

I called at 6:00 A.M. on our 180 day mark last week and got reservations for CRT. My 5 and 3 year olds are tooooooo excited. They ask every day if it is time to go to disney world.:)

You know, I think calling at 7 a.m. on the dot was really important, because I made all my ADRs, then realized I'd forgotten one, and called back at 7:17, and there was a 22 minute wait for a reservationist! So calling at 7:05 or 7:15 isn't nearly as good as calling at 7 on the dot.

Of course, I wound up calling back again at 2 p.m. to change something, and there was no wait at all. So...I don't know what it all means, except that we're crazy obsessive planners, and for crazy obsessive planners, calling at 7 a.m. on the dot is your best bet.

just adding it's nice to see "rigamarole" used in conversation!!!

I called around 9am today and got CRT lunch at the exact time and date I wanted (didn't even try for breakfast b/c we already have an ADR that morning at Ohana's). She told me she could check for other times if I wanted something different but the first time she gave me was what I wanted. Either I got lucky or early December really is low season!

I hit the 180 day mark today and awoke at 4am!!! to call for our ADR's. I waited on hold for almost 20minutes to talk to a rep, but was able to get our reservation for the Royal Table at 8:10am on the day we wanted. By our reservation number it was the 20th reservation this morning, and by the time I'd finished with our dozen ADR's there were more than 300 reservations made! I think calling at the time is important seeing as we're going at low season!

(Now I just have to get over feeling guilty that we two adults "took away" a reservation that could have gone to a family with kids...:rolleyes1 )

There are two ways to look at it - *everyone* takes away a reservation for someone else, or *no one* takes away a reservation from someone else. Unless one feels like a place is only for children, there's no reason for even a little bit of guilt.

Since WDW is for everyone, you are hereby declared entirely guilt-free. Just like waiting in line at an attraction hypothetically takes away a ride from someone else - you could just drive yourself nuts thinking about it.
