I just ordered from the "military" specials for my son in the Navy. I was so appreciative for the free shipping and he will enjoy sharing. I just got the cookies and the "home for the holidays" set of sausages/cheeses/spreads. I used my ebates account for 4% back plus the code which was still valid for the additional 15% off. Woo hoo! I thought there was a huge selection left but not everything could be shipped to the military. I remember when there was a temporary Hickory Farms store in our local mall for the holidays- the post holiday sales were similar to this one- pretty incredible!---Kathy

I sent the Home for the Holidays box to a friend overseas, then decided to order some for us when I saw this thread. Love the free APO/FPO shipping!!! So, will they only ship the gifts in the Military Gifts section to APO/FPOs, or will they ship anything?

It was hard not to order a ton!!! I got a fruit basket and two sausage and cheese combos for $24.06 shipped!! We're considering getting another to take as heartier snacks for the room while we're at WDW.

I ordered a bunch of stuff for my sister, she is with the military overseas for three years ... She just got pinned as a major in the AirForce today !!!!!!!!!!!
I also ordered a lot of stuff for furture delivery while we are in Disney for Star Wars Weekends ... can not go wrong with fruit, cheese, sausage and choc. covered pretzels plus the prices was RIGHT !!!!!!!!!

I just thought I'd let everyone know - we tried our ham yesterday. Believe it or not we were able to divide one of them into four sections, not an easy task. So I made one section yesterday. I really enjoyed it - in fact more so than a Honeybaked Ham. But four of us ate it, two really liked it and two not so much. So I guess it depends on your personal preference. I definitely give it a and am glad that I ordered two of them!
