So somehow, my wife and I totally spaced on this vaccination requirement for 5-11 year olds.

We set sail on May 27th on the Disney Dream, and our 7 year old is currently unvaccinated. Even if we vaccinate her TODAY, she won't be 14 days post-second dose by sail date.

What do we do? Does anyone who has cruised recently have insight to how much of a stickler they are on that 14 day period? Should we just vax her ASAP and hope for the best?

You have to provide proof that all travellers 5 and older are fully vaccinated and at least 14 days post 2nd shot. If you cannot provide that you will not be allowed on, period. You will need to move your cruise.

Cancel the cruise. It's not worth risking. Wait until the requirements are gone.

They are sticklers. Zero wiggle room. Move the cruise.

This has been in place for at least 5 months already. Plenty of time to have gotten kiddo vaxxed.

Since the OP has gotten their answer and there is nowhere for this thread to go but downhill with some comments getting personal, I'm going to close it.

As a side note, if you would like an official answer I would suggest calling DCL and talking to them, but the requirements are pretty clear therefore I would think the information given here is accurate. Good luck!
