I am taking my first Disney Cruise, and am going on the 7-Night Western on August 2nd. Can anyone tell me if there are any Casinos at any of the port of calls on the Western. I was going to take the 4-Night and I know there is Atlantis there.

We did the Western last summer and there were no casinos in Key West, Grand Cayman or Cozumel.

Please don't anyone tell my Mom - she has ten dollars she's dying to put into one of those one armed bandits!!!!

Just bet her $10 she will never lose.

Than spend the rest of the cruise trying to figure out who wins the bet.

Just go to Atlantic City..........and you'll get your casino fix!!!!!!

...ya can't have everything (where would you put it?)...;)

I would say first, you'll never miss the casino thru the week on the cruise, you'll never lack for something to do.

Second, if you can't go 1 week without a casino, you need to talk to someone about it.

Does anyone know what night is formal and Semi-formal night on the 7-Night Western?

Semi-formal night is Monday night and formal night is Thursday night.

Ok, I never said anything about not being able to go without going to a casino.

I was just wondering if the 7-night western was just as exciting as going on the 4-night and going to Atlantis. I don't gamble first of all. The whole reason behing Atlantis is that I'm taking my friend on the cruise with me for my birthday and she was talking about how she likes Atlantis, but I really want to suprise her by taking her on the 7-night western for her birthday as well which is a week later than mine. But was concerned about her not being able to enjoy the Atlantis experience. She or I are not gamblers or hooked on casinos, I think she like the beautiful lighted resort. The last time I played a slot machine was about 15 years ago, so I guess I don't need to seek any help.

I've been to Atlantis and it is amazing. If your friend wants to go there do the shorter cruise and a few days at WDW.

I lay you 3:2 odds that just because someone likes to gamble on a cruise that it doesn't mean you want to talk to anyone.

It may just mean you like to go into a casino on vacation.

My wife has been in a casino a total of five times in forty something years.

Each and every time was trip related.

She will miss it as she associates it as part of a cruise.

Shorter trip with a few days at disney is not an option as we live in Orlando and are at the parks at least every week.

Thanks for the suggestion though.

Hey Jim.

I agree. Talking might interrupt "successful" gambling...
