7-night Eastern St. Thomas excursions - which would you do?

Hi,

We are going on the 7-night Eastern cruise in December. We are looking to have a beach day, so I was wondering which of these excursions you would recommend. It will be me, hubby, and our 3 boys (7, 9, & 11).

5-Star St. John Snorkel and Beach Adventure

Magen's Bay Beach Break

I've that the Magen's Bay beach is pretty easy to do on our own, but that worries me a little bit! I'm also hoping to have some shopping time before we have to board.

St. John. St. John, St. John......

Loved the trip! It was the best, so beautiful, plenty of beach time, plenty of time to shop.

I've been to both. Magen's Bay is also beautiful....I just though St. John was something REALLY special!

We did Magen's Bay on our own- couldn't have been easier and it was breathtaking! We had a great day- just grabbed a taxi as soon as we got off the boat and told the driver what time to pick us up. It was our first trip to St. Thomas, so we wanted to spend the day there.
