We are making our first DIS trip April 17-25 (DH & I have been, but not w/the kiddos) ... we have 7 full days to enjoy the fun activities that FL has to offer (the other 2 travel days) We're staying at a resort in Kissimmee with a pool, but not alot of activities w/in... I have a 7 1/2 yo very active DS :bounce: , a 6yo mildly active DS, but would prefer to be in front of a TV watching Power Rangers :3dglasses & a very active 3yo DD princess: ... while alot of people I talked to had kids that would prefer to stay at the hotel/resort by the pool, mine just won't last... we want to get alot out of this trip, since it will probably be several years before we do it again.. my uncle bought us 5 park hopper passes (2 days) which was an incredible gift to us.. so paying for other attractions will be alot easier to swallow.. My parents are coming with us, as well as my DS.. my parents probably won't do all the parks with us.. Here's what we really want to do, but wondering if it's too much to fit in.. opinions on what would/wouldn't work would be great! Or how to fit it all in w/out overwhelming everyone... Thanks in advance :)

WDW
Animal Kingdom (have a breakfast w/character booked~Restaurantosaurus)
MGM
Universal
SeaWorld
A Water Park (recommendations on best one would be great too)

Hi I have the perfect soulution to your trip.
Day 1(non travel]
Today i suggest you go to Magic Kingdom and start off in fantasy land your dd3 will love all the rides!!!! if you promise the boys Buzz after this theyll be happy.Winnie the Pooh is a gentle ride with no scare factor you are simply travling in a honey pot through the story book. This attraction has long lines so i'd suggest going early, during meal times or during a parade, or Fastpass it. This is the same deal with all the rides in Fantasy land .
The next ride is Snow Whites scary adventures this is the same concept as Pooh but you see a lot of the witch and thier are some gotcha moments.
Dumbo is a ride where you sit in elephants outside and they go around and you can make them go up and down. Mickys PhillharMagic is fine for ds6 and ds7 but might be too loud and dark for dd3. This is a 3-d show where Donald duck takes over mickeys orchestra and it is loads of fun!!!! The teacups as you probably know are teacups where you control the speedv of the spinning so it should be fine for everyone. In Tommorow land the only attractions i would reccomend would be Buzz lightyear. You shoot and battle evil zurg! this is a great ride just like stepping into a video game!!!!! the tommorowland transit auhority is a great place to rest. If you need a break, it is also great to ride the train around the park. Mickey's Toontown is a fun place to go to get autographs and pictures with Minnie, Mickey, and assorted other characters. Again, go early, or at parade time to avoid long lines. Your boys will love the Indy Speedway, although it also can have some long lines. In Adventureland, Fastpass the Jungle Cruise and ride the Aladdin ride (like Dumbo only with flying carpets, and check out pirates of the Caribbean. This may be too frightening for some young children.

Our family always found it best to go to the park early, leave about noon and have lunch at the hotel, followed by a brief nap or pool time, and then back to the parks about 3:00. The parade crowds start leaving around then and it makes the park much easier to navigate. Hope this info helps you some what.

There is not alot offered at the water parks for DD3, but if you're going I would suggest Typhoon Lagoon. I think it's more laid back and for younger kids such as your DD6 and DD7. Just my opinion though. You're only using 3 days of the hopper, so I hope you got the no exp. princess: princess:

I'm not quite sure about the hopper... my uncle got it for us (he called in a favor to a friend I guess :confused3 ) What he said was that we got:

"Good news! I have arranged for Park Hopper tickets for your party of 5 x 2
days = 10 tickets ( 5 tickets for each day 2 days total )."

Thanks for the info :wizard:

Actually the water parks have tons to do, Blizzard Beach in particular has great areas for all your kids. There's a smaller tots area that my DD3 loved,it had small slides, shooting water animals, squirting water, and a sandy area for playing.
DS7 and DD11 had a terrific time there also. There's an area that is perfect for the under 10 set where they can climb across "ice floats" holding onto a rope, there's a large boat/tube type slide that the 6 & 7 yr olds can go on with an adult. Also some smaller type slides that are good for them.

Make sure to see the mgm parade with ds six just heard the power rangers are in it and your dd would probably like play house disney. The boys may like the muppet 4d show. MGM is one of our favorite parks can't wait to see the new stunt show

DD loves the Princesses, DS (6) Power Rangers & anything Nickelodeon ... DS (7) likes Nickelodeon & anything sports related .. we could split up.. we'll have my parents & sister w/us too, so we could do a few different things... ooohhh.. the ideas are brewing! :wizard: Thanks everyone! Keep 'em coming

They have mad hatters tea party, my disney girl tea party-sleeping beauty theme girls get dolls, braclets, tiaras, and scrap book page mom stay with them, They have a princess breakfast in epcot, anyone like pooh crystal palace. If your going in April you might have to take anything you can get I would call for ps today.

We enjoy Donald's a lot, you made a great pick. There is Princess breakfast at Epcot you might enjoy. (But you only have 2 days at the parks)

Your uncle has gifted you with 2 days at the Disney Parks. That is not enough time to see everything. Are you going to purchase extra hopper tickets or are you only going to spend 2 days at WDW? I would think MK would be one day and AK for the other day.

If you go to Seaworld and Universal, tickets are rouglhy $60 (adult) $40 (child) per day. If you belong to AAA you can get a discount. I would check out wdwig.com, seaworld.com and universalstudios.com to see where you would like to spend your time.

Going to a water park is great. TL and BB have areas meant just for toddlers. We love both but our favorite is TL. Go when they first open up and get a nice shady spot.

Good luck with your planning.
