7 for 4

Can anyone please tell me what the 7 for 4 deal is? I have been reading different posts, but none of them specifically say what the deal is. I just received my Disney Visa the other day but it did not have anything about a 7 for 4 deal. Is it 7 nights for the price of 4?
Also, does it apply to any Disney resort?

I'll answer the best I can... It's 7 nights for the price of 4 at various resorts. You have to be a new cardholder and be eligible for the "deal". Disney will call BankOne to verify that you are eligible when you call to book the package. If you qualify, you have to book by April 30th and travel between May 1st and October 31st. You will receive 100 Disney Dollars upon check in, as well as the "perks" that go along with a Dream Maker package. I hope that helps!

Wow, this would be great.

We applied for a Disney credit card a week ago but have not gotten it yet.

Should we tentatively book a room only with our current credit card in hopes of being able to apply the discount to our reservations later?

It wouldn't hurt to go ahead a book your preferred resort now but be aware that there seems to be a limited amount of rooms set aside for the 7 for 4 deal. We were able to convert our existing reservations but others have posted that their preferred resorts/rooms were "sold out" at the package rate for their travel times. Since you applied for the Disney Visa before 3/31 you should be eligible and while almost everyone appears to qualify for the deal if they get approved for the card, you may have to be persistent when making/converting your reservations to insure that WDW calls Bank One to verify. A few people have posted that some CMs at CRO were refusing to book their deal/check with Bank One since they did not have a "code"; a code is not necessary if they verify with Bank One. I just booked this deal yesterday. I had to make 4 calls to CRO because, while I have been approved for the Disney Visa mine has not arrived yet. While a couple of folks wound't even tell me about the deal, one told me about it but told me I must book right then, the last one said it was such a great deal he would do a "courtsey hold" for me for two weeks. It realy is a good price. Good luck. Oh yeah, the code for the 7/4 is cwdm.

Just curious how long it took from the time you applied for card until you knew you were approved? Also, do you know which of the Deluxe hotels this deal might be good for?

It took mine no longer than one week until it came in the mail! I have read were others took longer.

Got my Card last week. Called WDW CRO once and asked about 7/4 and got quotes for all sorts of stuff but not 7/4. Called again, different reservationist and just like everyone says, I got a different answer.

The individual this time was very pro-active and said she knew of it but needed to find the code. She asked her Supervisor, got the code, checked the first six digits of my card to see if I qualified (I guess it has to be a recently opened account) and I did.

7/4 package is 7 nights for price of 4, regular dream maker package plus $100 in Disney reward dollars. Works out about $900 less than regular dream maker package not counting the $100 in reward dollars.

Moral of the story: If you don't get the right answer, call again!

Quick question - we are planning on going in Sept. 2003 and have booked 10 nights - it is more feasible to do the 7 for 4 night deal or wait until some decent codes come out that could save us in upwards of 40%. . .anyone figured this out and have any suggestions?
