7 Dwarves Mine Train totally underwhelming

It replaced Snow White's Scary Adventures and I like it better than that ride so I am happy.

I don't know why it took so long to build though.

I think it's cute but I wish the ride was a longer. I only ride it if I have a FP+. And I prefer to ride it at night - you can see some of the scenes better that way I think.

Unless it's changed in the past year (and it very well may have, but just in case), the silly video uses stock images from day time even if you ride at night. The images are fine, though. I think the ride "videos" are silly in general - they're more like still photos inside of a video.

That IS funny! :D

I like 7DMT for the fact that my wife, who does not do coasters, rode it with me and my daughter and she actually liked it.

Thanks for the tip on riding it at night...we will have to do this next time we are there. I will have to say that the very first time we rode it I was underwhelmed-but we were sitting right in front. Last week we were at the very back and it was a completely different ride and we enjoyed it much much more. I actually didn't think that it seemed too short....longer than I remembered it from the first visit.

From reading the boards, I went in with expectations tempered for this ride. I liked the ride but it needed to be a little bit longer. Another dark ride scene at the beginning at it would be a great family ride instead of just being good.

I enjoyed it, but as others have said, it is way too short. I would never wait more than 15-20min to ride it.

I probably wouldn't ride it again if it weren't for my kids. I like riding it because I LOVE seeing the joy on their faces that it causes them to have.

That joy is why we go to Disney, its called Disney magic and Pixie dust.

Uncle Walt spent a lifetime showing us what it was all about........

I seem to be in the minority, but when were rode it last week - I LOVED it. My whole family did. We rode it three times!

After hearing some of the reviews on it, I had low expectations. And I was pleasantly surprised. I just loved when it slowed down and those little dwarfs were digging away. I just love the dwarfs! It makes me happy now just thinking about it.

My wife and I both enjoy 7DMT. With all the setup no one should be surprised with it not being a thrill ride coaster, however it does have the unique rolling action that does make it fun. The mine scene in the middle is also pretty cool.........for Disney geeks like me 8-). Hey its way above the Barnstormer, which is a kiddie coaster. If you're in to 6 Flags coasters you will be disappointed but if you go with the understanding of what it is...........you can appreciate it.

Everyone is entitled to their own opinions, but I was surprised at the number of people saying the ride is short, because I don't really perceive it that way. Of course, if you don't like the ride, it doesn't really matter how long g it is, but I got curious and found this list of ride times. Obviously, I didn't time these myself, so I can't speak to the accuracy, but if it's close, it seems to me that 7DMT is a similar length to other coaster-type rides. Space Mountain is the same length, Everest is about 20 seconds longer and BTMRR is about 50 seconds longer. For comparison, Peter Pan seems to be about the same length as well and also has similar waits. Obviously, there are
Many rides both shorter and longer, but between 2-3 minutes seems a pretty average length...

Being the thrill seeker in the family I didn't think I would like it but I LOVE it. the whole family can ride together, it's well themed, it gives me a happy feeling and it's even better to ride at night! Being greedy I would have liked it to be longer but it's still a great family ride which has Disney feeling.

Not that we didn't like it but I think because it has such a long wait, I expected more.

It replaced Snow White's Scary Adventures and I like it better than that ride so I am happy.

I don't know why it took so long to build though.

Snow whites scary adventure was replaced by the princess fairytale hall.

Where 7dmt is at is where 20,000 leagues under the sea used to be

It could be a longer ride, but so could a lot of other rides.

Fun fact...at 2 minutes and 30 seconds..7dmt is longer than Rockin Rollercoaster, same ride time as Space Mountain, and about 15-20 seconds shy of being the same ride duration as Peter Pan and Expedition Everest.

Its short and boring whereas Space and RnR are short and exciting.
