I think i would have slept on a bed of rocks at that point. We were so exhausted- mentally and physically.Oh my, what a rough start you guys had.I'm so sorry you all had to go through that.
But YAY for making it to CBR and them having a room available for you!I bet you were all so glad to just be able to lay down and go to sleep.
Looking forward to more. I sure hope things got better. Although I am sure they did!![]()

It did feel good to finally lay down! Although we jumped at every little noise thinking he was getting sick again.Rough start!!!
I know how you must have felt laying down that first night at CBR! When my kids are sick, I just lay there praying and listening for every little noise, ready to jump out of bed.
I hope it all improves!! (a little birdie told me it was a fun trip!)

Code V! I'm using that one from now onKim - Sorry to hear that Andrew had a rough ride down to WDW. I can definitely attest that you shouldn't tell a anxiety-prone kid about a trip beforehand. My son Chris did a "code v" as well call it around here at my house one night before a trip from on top of his bunk down upon his sleeping older brother. What scene and nightmare. LOL!
Can't wait to hear about your first day at the parks! Sea

I've been super tired every night this week too. I thought it was just because I was sick but even Dh has been exhausted. Thanks for sending me a link to your TR!!!! I don't ever worry about the photo sizes but there is a way to resize them before uploading. I should probably make mine smaller so you can't see my wrinkles on my face so easily. So sorry to hear about the drive down Code V! That is no way to start a vacation! Love the lessons learnt! Great idea for a TR!
yes yes I am starting one... I am still figuring out photo issues, I think mine are too big?
As well i am exhausted at night? are you? I feel zoinkered by 6 pm!

Good idea keeping it in the car. I put it on my master packing list for any further vacations.I am enjoying your TR so far.
I can relate to your Code V road trip. Most of ours wind up very similar. Dramamine has become a good friend of ours, and it stays in the car so that we don't forget it!! Although I did take it out of the car to make the trip to Disney - and it was a good call!!![]()
They were so excited to see those chains get smaller every day.Wow, what a start to your vacation!
I'm sure it got much, much better, though!
I love the picture of the kids taking their last links off the countdown chains!

No offense taken- I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy. Well... maybe on my worst enemy, but no one else.Wow, what a start to your trip!! I am amazed your survived it without going crazy!! There is nothing like "aheming" or "Code Ving" in a moving car--not fun at all!! Way to be smart and grabbing the ziplock bags!!
I sure hope our car trip goes better--no offense!!! We have one next week and should have one next month to NC so it will be the first long ones since my DD has been potty trained. We have done a few short ones (4 to 5 hours) and she did well on those.
Looking for to reading about more lessonsand magical moments!
