7 day Western - May 7, 2005???

Doc-less Tigger checking in again.

So, I e-mailed the TA today politely asking about docs. Her response was that she hasn't received them yet but she called and was told that our docs just haven't been issued yet. So, I'm going to go with Lisa's (Goofytoo) theory that they're just holding out to DAZZLE us with a big upgrade. OR, they're just trying to send me over the edge. :rolleyes1

Jott3 - Sending lots and lots of pixie dust from PA for a speedy recovery. :wizard: As Kaykels said, what's another "stroller" onboard... geez, with all the injured DISers, we can organize some stroller/wheelchair races on deck! :rotfl2:

Welcome, Claudia oh! Glad you finally decided to pop in and say hello. The more the merrier. This does seems to be a pretty crazy crew!

As for the rest of you with all your talk of pina coladas, margaritas and rum runners..... Waaaaa... I WANT ONE. Oh well, I'll be sure to make up those calories with desserts... my true addiction. I can smell the souffle now! I'll have to at least hunt down a non-alcoholic version for our meet.... so I can at least look cool! :earboy2:

Jott3,
Sending lots of pixie dust your way. :wizard: :wizard: :wizard: :wizard: You still have two weeks. Lots could happen in Two weeks. Hang in there. :teleport: Keep thinking possitive.

Tiggerzfan,
Same for you. Here's the pixie dust for the Docs to come. :wizard: :wizard: Watch for that big upgrade, Keep your fingers crossed.

Let's look at the possitive side. All the BOO BOO people get on board first.

Debbie :wave2:

Thanks all for the warm welcome. We were originally scheduled to be in cabin 2026 but I was hoping for an upgrade since we got one last January 11th when we sailed on the Wonder, but when we received our documents...no such luck. But, then last Friday night we got a call from Disney Cruise Line and they said that they had upgraded us to 7062. So now we have a verandah!!! I was so thrilled... I did the happy dance (my family thinks I am nuts and my youngest son Sean says he will miss his porthole... he has no idea). :cool1:

lucky you on the upgrade claudio oh!!! :sunny:

jott3 you have almost 2 weeks to get better & as others have said, the power of positive thinking does wonders- even if you had to be in a wheel chair you could still have a great time!! you would be able to always be first in line :cool1: hoping that foot gets better soon

okay, i can't wait any longer i am going to pack this weekend!!! and fill out my documents- i was really hoping for an upgrade but what the heck, i'm on the ship!! :cloud9:

13 DAYS TILL I'M OUT OF HERE!!!! :jumping1:

TiggerzFan
I had almost the same thing happen to me in August re:the docs.
My TA kept bugging Disney for me.
At first DCL said the docs had been sent and would arrive on such and such date.(No) Then they said they weren't issued yet and would be the next day.(Again, No), Finally they had to overnight them to me.
My TA had to keep bugging them for me.
Tammy at Dreams Unlimited did a great job for me.

cladia_oh
Congrats on the upgrade, you lucky dog, you!
I was hoping for an upgrade to a Cat 3. Can't hurt to wish :rotfl:

Hi all :cool1:
Sitting here in the bed I have been in now for 7 days and will probably be in for 14 more in trying to heal my foot.. Yesterday the doc said it didn't look as bad as the last time and then proceded to cut away... :earseek: Last trip on Disney Magic I had to use a cane and should have had a wheel chair.. It took months to heal.. I hope you don't have to cancel your trip due to your foot :guilty: I only have the one excursion scheduled and I know there is more than enough to do on the ship  Welcone to the new people again. The docs are probably in a frozen tundra somewhere from all the snow you guys had this winter season :rotfl: My drink of choice to take is margarita's--viva quervo!! :goodvibes James pirate:

Hi everyone,
Welcome Claudia Oh! :)
OK...what's the deal with the foot problems on this cruise??? Ever since I've been reading these, my left big toe has been given me a lot of trouble. Is there something lurking in the cyber shadows jinxing our feet? :confused3
Two weeks and counting...I can't wait. DS17 can't wait. DH doesn't even realize we're going on a cruise and DS13 and his tude can't be bothered! Who cares...we'll have a blast! :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc
I hope everybody's feet heal and we can all cha-cha on deck. :cool1:
Linda

hi all

i changed my stingray tour to the 2hr one- i want to do some shopping in grand cayman and DS6 may be too tired if we do the half day- we start the excursion at 11:15 am........anyone else??? :cool1:

well, i got a lot of my clothes laid out on the bed & even got DH to get his clothes out(that was a real job!!) :sad2:

momeska thats why my DD18 & her attitude is staying with her aunt- we have mother and daughter issues and i don't think we could stomach each other for a 7 day cruise and 2 extra days in FL!! :confused3 -she really didn't want to go...then she wanted to...so we gave her a choice of getting a used car for graduation or coming with us........well, ya all know what she opted for :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

:wave2:

Bratray - we're on the 11:15 too (direct with Capt. Marvin's, right?) We thought that would be plenty for our girls. Someone else in our group is on that one too, but I can't remember who. It should be fun! :cool1:

Wishing all of you "feet people" well!!! :cheer2:

Bratray,
It's me. I'm on that excursion thru Captian Marvin's. I thought 2 hours is plenty, so I changed mine too. How is DS doing today? I know he was having problems. I'm thinking about changing the Cozumel excursion too. I can't decide! Decisions, Decisions. :confused3

THis time Two weeks from now we'll be PARTYING!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :cool1:  :cool1:

Debbie

mommommouse- thanks for asking :goodvibes - DS is doing much better- he goes to doc mon for a check up for his asthma

great....we'll have some disers for our capt marvins excursion!! :cheer2:

Hi All!!!

11 more days.... :cool1: :cool1: :cool1:

Bratray - We're on the same Capt Marvin excursion too. I hope we're all on the same boat... that would be so much fun.

Debbie - You should do the Fury Catamaran, Beach & Snorkel on Cozumel. I think there are a bunch of us doing that one together

James - I hope your foot is better soon. Take it easy the next week and you should be ready to party. :drinking1 :drinking1

I just went through our suitcases again and we're set. I actually had to try on some of my clothes that I bought since I'm still in the process of losing weight. Some are actually getting too big. If that's my biggest problem, I'll be one happy camper... or should I say cruiser :goodvibes I'm putting together a final list of odds and ends I still need to get/do, but otherwise, we are ready to rock n roll :flower: :flower:

Thanks for all the well wishes, everyone. My foot has felt a little better this weekend. Guess I just have to wait and see what the doctor thinks on Tuesday. One minute DH and I think we are still going on the cruise, and the next we aren't sure what to do.

Just for kicks, what is everyone looking forward to the MOST?

I would probably have to say Castaway Cay!

after waiting 7+ months for this cruise i can't wait to finally set foot in the disney terminal for the first time!! :flower:

I'm not sure what to pick. The thought of not cooking for a whole week excites me :cool1: Me and DH to just hang out together is another good reason. I'm really looking forward to Castaway Cay also and like Bratray said, just walking into the terminal and the ship for the first time :goodvibes

I really hope I'm not joining the hurt people. I did something to my left hip this weekend. Right now it really hurts but I'm hoping tomorrow morning I'll get up and it'll be all better. Maybe I just pulled something.

Probably just sympathy pains for the rest of you all.(I hope)

Well everybody one more weekend to get ready. :cool1: My DH will probably wait until the day we're leaving. :rotfl:

DEBBIE

We are just looking forward to being able to relax and not worry about anything. :jumping2:
Being from Naples, Florida and having a great beach just around the corner, Castaway Cay isn't as attractive to us as it is to you who don't have access to a beach all year. :flower:
I think Key West is what I'm looking forward to the most. I've lived here for 20 years and never gone. It's about time! :scratchin

I am looking forward to sunshine and warm weather and spending time with the family! :grouphug:

My Balcony and Pina coladas!

Next week we get on the plane for our Magical Journey!!!!

Is everyone all packed?????

when are you leaving goofytoo? are you spending time at WDW?...lucky you-

not packed but the majority of stuff is on the bed

my DS & i are doing a 10 day countdown- i am making some squares with the days left & disney pics underneath then taping on the fridge- each day he will take one away- its great he is so excited :teeth: ....now if only i could get DH just as excited :sad2:

We leave Maine on Thursday to sleep and my MIL's near Boston.
Our flight leaves on Friday am. We are planning on hanging out at the Radisson for the day probably taking a taxi over to Grills for Lunch then sitting by the pool.

What day do you leave?

You are staying at Ron Jons right?

We are planning on going to Typhoon Lagoon on Saturday when we get back.
our flight out does not leave until 7 PM

I am so Excited
me and DH talked about it all weekend
I am sorry you DH is grumpy I can't contain my excitement.
It is nice when you have cruised at least once before so you know what to expect.

My Nephew is the same age as your DS maybe I'll be sure they come to the dismeet so they can meet.

I went through my carryon and put some stuff it there this weekend

I am always afraid I will forget something.
