Sorry Had to chime in on the Happy dance!!!!
I think I will start the packing piles before march.
I have to make sure everone has what they need in terms of summer stuff.
My DS will be 12 next week and one minute all the jeans fit and the next minute he is wearing capris LOL
Thats the good thing about shorts never have to worry about Length

Well I made a few changes we are now staying at the Radisson the night before instead of Ron Jons we could not get into our room until 4:00 at Ron Jons and they did not have luggage storage and we won't have a car
we have tiffany bringing us to the port. This makes sense we stayed there the last 2 times and the accomodations are nice and the pool is so warm!
at 90 days we can make some excursion ressies.
Is everyone going to make Palo ressies for dinner? How bout Brunch?

Hi all :worship:
Man that ia some happppppyyyyy dance :rotfl2: Still geting over the flu (2weks now) DW and don't know about doing dinner at pa;o's this time but definately lunch-brunch.. Maybe we can get a group to have brunch there.. We will have to have the group total and when we board we can take over the line, unless someone is doing the REAS and they can request the brunch time for the group when they call you or you call Debbie for the Dinner.. James :hourglass

I can't believe how quickly the time is going by now

James - Hope you feel better. Palo's brunch sounds good. We'll see how many other people are interested.

Goofytoo - I know what you mean about your DS and pants. My oldest DD went through the same thing, but atleast she's a girl ;) I do love the summer for that reason... never having to worry about shorts being too short (okay, maybe for SOME people :earboy2: )

Can you all please tell me if I've figured this out correctly? The first day to book excursions, if we are paid in full, is Saturday 2/5. My TA said we would have to wait until Monday, but I've read here on these boards they are open on Saturday's. We want the Dolphin Encounter in Cozumel, and I know that can fill quickly, so I really want to make sure we get it. Thanks! :wave2:

Hi Lostgirls :rotfl2:
I don't think you can book through Disney except Monday thru Friday 9-5 but you can through say Captain Marvins.. I have never had any luck in getting them except at this time.. Also did I get names from you for the buttons .. I can;t remember.. If I did I will look through the posts. If you can send me your name and your hubbie and the kids.. Just curious as brain dead as I am lately( Just getting over the flu) getting shot on tuesday though-don't figure.
You can pm me with the info if you want.. James.. Did 10 of 14 buttons today and they didn't come out too bad, considering all..See ya James :cool1:

hi everyone!!

i just paid off my cruise today .....yahoo     now i am formally broke :goodvibes but its a good broke because i am really going on my disney cruise :cheer2:

i am going to reserve with capt marvins too and am really looking forward to reserving my DCL excursions....DH want to fish, fish, fish- he wants to parasail but i am kind of up in the air about that :rotfl2: ,,,,no really, i don't know if i would be toooo scared to get up there

get well james, better to be sick now then on our cruise ;)

Hi all :cool1:
Well I got 21 button/pins done and will post a picture in the next couple of days. They are 2" in diameters and came out pretty good on glossy photo paper. If everyone thinks it will be too much of a rush on debarkation day for our DIS meet we can have it at 1000 in sessions on day 2 if no one has an early excursion in Key West. I was hoping to have it at 1500 -3:00pm for you landlubbers. I was wanting to get something extra maybe for all the kids and the sail away party--Bubbles-glow necklaces(since ours are not coming with us-adoption is the order of the day) I cleaned Lucille today and rode her around the block since having the FLU-feeling better-some- and will now get a shot on Tuesday :rotfl2: We may do Capt.Marvins stingray city trip and the Jet ski's on CC but otherwise we are roaming Key West-been there and done that. GC we will go out to the Harley shop and some shopping with ? Capt. Marvin but Cosumel is all laidback. We will try to get a brunch at Palo's with possible group and of course Pin trading as I am somewhat into it. I guess I have 3-400 Disney pins with quite a few cruise pins - Especially from the Villinous pin cruise :). Always looking for more though-You know like the Beatles song when I'm dead and gone :rotfl: Maybe we can getsome kind of reply going on the meet, if we need we can have 2 meets.Debarkation at 1500 and day 2 at 1000 hours(for the straglers and those that forget)see ya :crowded: James

Bratray - Congratulations on paying the cruise off. We're still a few weeks off since we're still waiting for DH's W2.

James - Glad your feeling better. I bet Lucille was happy to be out and about again :earboy2: Can't wait to see what the buttons look like. I'm all for two meets. We have nothing planned for Key West except for walking around, so that works for us too. I'll have to make sure to put a reminder on a post-it and put it somewhere so I'll remember  I thought about bringing some bubbles for sail away, so I will try and pick up extra bottles. I always have glow necklaces for the kids when we travel (makes getting around a hotel at night easier).

Oh, you might want to look into the pin trading. I read a post on the regular discussion board about them stopping pin trading with CM's because of viruses?? You might want to check it out, but I guess you could still trade with other passengers.

we have no plans for key west either- thought we would take a walk around then head back to the ship- James the buttons sound great...i can't wait to see them
i ended up booking the half day (10am -1pm) with capt marvins- should be fun!
i would be happy to do a dismeet on key west day- just let me know the time and place and i will be there :flower1:

Did anyone figure out that Key west is Mothers day?
It will be a crazy day to squeeze a lot of things in.
Usually they have a DVC meet that day in the morning.
We would like to do Brunch that day too I will have MIL withus
Keep in mind we leave key west early now 7:30 unless they change it back to 10:00 I hope they change it back!
James glad to hear you are up and about.
I am sure Lucille was excited to get out as well :moped:
well I am sure Lucille is not as wimpy as that moped.
sounds like in your sickness you have been busy
you should get some rest :goodvibes
I can't wait to see the buttons too!
what time are the captain Marvins excursions in Grand Cayman?
I would like to venture to Rum point

Does anyone know what time we can get off the ship in Key West? For us, it would be easier to meet the first day on board. I'm from Key West originally, so we'll probably attend church if we get there in time, otherwise we'll have lots of obligations with friends and family.
We booked the 2 1/2 hour excursion with Capt. Marvin's -- mostly because our DD's are so young. That will probably be plenty of time for them. Can't wait! ;)

Hi all :cool1:
I think that 2 meets would be the way to go for the cruise. Let's shoot for 1500(3:00pm) on Debarkation day on deck 10 and the second day Mom's day at 1000 hours unless this competes with the DVC meet but, I think it is later. As far as Key west a 1000am :Pinkbounc meet is probably pretty good in sessions I will find out for sure. According to my latest Navigator from June 2004 arrival at Key West is 1130 and all ashore is at 1200noon. As we get closer I hope to find mmore upto date Navigator's I can read. Here'sapic of a couple of button's. The size is big but I couldn't get it down anymore without losing one of the pins.. James

hey james I LOVE MY PIN!!! thanks so much- i can't wait to pin it on and be on the cruise...i am even starting to have cruise dreams :) sorry to sound "ignorant" but what is 1000 hours- i never was good at "army" time :flower:

James - The pins look GREAT!  I can't wait to wear mine :goodvibes

I understand what goofytoo is saying about doing a meet on Key West day since it's Mother's Day might be difficult. I actually didn't realize we were even going to be gone during Mother's Day.... shows you how much I'm paying attention :rotfl: We could still plan both and just sees who show's up or wait until we get closer (or anyone makes another suggestion).

Bratray - I think we might be doing the same excursion with you with Capt Marvin's. We haven't made our reservations yet, but soon :)

1000 is 10:00a :rotfl2: AAAARRRRHHHHHHm and 1500 is 3:0pm

hi tera
it would be great to have someone from the disboards along with us for capt marvins!! i just hope my DS5 isn't too scared to get in the water with the sting rays- i did show him a pic of what a sting ray looks like and some pics of many of them in the water- he said he won't be scared :confused3 ...but we'll wait and see, & if worse comes to worse he can stay on capt marvins boat while DH & i take turns :)

thanks james for the run down on the time, maybe one day i will get it straight

Just tell him its a big water chicken without feathers..

Hey Bratray mine name is Lisa too!
James the pins are awesome :) Cody will love it!
I think the DVC meet is at 10-11 at diversions on Key west day
All ashore 12:00 all aboard 7:30 hope they change this.
I got these from November Navigators

Anyone else a DVC member?
It will be good to have 2 meets it gets sort of crazy trying to get everyone together at the same time so James don't go to crazy trying to make this right. :earseek:

We are going to do a disney stingray City excursion.
can you guys tell me why you chose captain marvins over the disney excursion.
we are doing the fury catamaran sail and snorkel beach party this sounds awesome too!

we can start to make ressies on Monday!!!!

James, the buttons look gret! Thanks again for doing them! :)

GoofyToo, we booked with Capt. Marvin's direct because our DD is 3 and too young for Disney's excursions (they have to be 5). Capt. Marvin's got very good reviews, from what I read, and since we're only doing the 2 hour tour it was only $34 per adult and $20 for our 7 year old. SO many people say it's the highlight of their trip, I didn't want to miss it.

Bratray, I have the same concerns about getting my girls into the water, but I think in the end, they'll end up doing it! :earsgirl:
