What excursions are you doing? I thought that we would do Key West on our own. I heard that swinging with the stingrays in Grand Cayman was a great experience but I do not think that my kids would be comfortable with that. I need to hurry up and plan what we are going to do. The 1st is just around the corner!

We are also going to do Key West on our own. We are doing Captain Marvins Stingray Excursion in Grand Cayman. Everyone says it's something not to be missed. I figured if the kids freaked out they could stay on the boat and watch. They all enjoy snorkeling and there are still a few stops for that.

We haven't booked anything else so far. I was thinking today that the 1st is right around the corner also!

Anyone else doing anything fun?

At this point.....I plan to do the Rum Point/ Stingray City excursion in GC with a stop at HRC afterwards!......the jeep excursion or Paradise Beach in Cozumel and I'm not sure what in KW....on CC we will do the BB ride and probably snorkel and bike ride/ visit the Adult beach.............the time has come to book.........whoooppeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

Hi Jlawall

I believe our son Geno is one of the people your daughters have cruised with before. He is really looking forward to the July 31st cruise. Your daughters, T, T, and J are part of the reason we are taking this cruise. When he found out that some of the kids he met on previous cruises booked for the first week in August he immediately asked if we could book for the same week.

Wow! How cool that you are DISers too!! I did meet Geno last summer and my second DD - T told me that Geno was returning. I'm so glad you'll be with us. I'm so psyched about this trip!! What excursions are you guys doing? I will tell the girls you checked in....see you soon!!!!!!!!!!!

Okay, now that we're approaching the 60 day window, is everyone that has previously posted on this thread still going?

We are, along with the other the other 3&1/2 families going with us.

We weren't planning on doing any excursions. We were going to try to walk around Key West ourselves. We tried last year but it was just too darn HOT!! We have already done stingray city - AWESOME - but Geno really didn't care for it. So we thought maybe we would just walk around there too. Are there any DIS meets planned yet? I haven't had a chance to read through all 14 pages of this thread to find out.

DisneyBill~ we are still going. Me my DH, DS 20, DD 18, DD 13, and DD 10 and of course my oldest DD 29 w/my grandson who is 2.

Any kids that are close in age to mine? My 13 and 10 DD's are getting nervous about meeting other kids their age.

I guess it's time to arrange our DISmeet....We could meet at the Adult Pool around 3pm before sailing. I met a lot of nice people there last summer. What does everyone want to do? It's not crowded at all and since all the DISers arrive early, lunch is over, ressies are made and it time to start having fun!!

I think that is a good time and place. Will the other adults get mad because we have kids there?

I don't know, there's not alot of people there then.

Perhaps the Goofy pool would be a better area. Disney really enforces the "no kids hanging around" rule, especially now that the teen area is an adult area. That whole section is a total adults' zone.

Whatever everyone wants to do is fine with me. Goofy Pool is good too, let's do it there. If it helps the kids to me each other, that sounds good....so who's in????

Goofy pool sounds good to us. Can't wait to meet everyone. Lot's of us are on deck 5 forward so we should see a lot of each other.

Bummer, two weeks on the ship. How I envy you.

We are not sure what we want to do as far as shore excursions. Heard that Captain Marvins is good for Sting rays.
