I'm starting to think about a DIS meet on board (I think I got "encouraged" to plan it)....

do we know how many DISers there are??

I know we have FE lists, but not everyone is participating in that.

Has anyone put together a list anywhere on this thread of who's on the cruise??

I know people are planning pin trading and mixology for later in the cruise, but I think we should have a meet & greet and embarkation day.

Shall we say 3pm?

Ok....I'm trying to work up a list of DISers, so that we know how big of a space we need for our meet.

Here's what I have so far (from the thread and the FE list). If you didn't post your names on the thread (just on the FE list), I left it off of the list, in case it was for privacy.

I count around 112 so far.

There were some people on the FE list that didn't have disboards names and I'm not sure if they were connected (family/friends) to DISers, so I left them off for now.

I'll sort it better later.

3 PM on embarkation day sounds good or In the morning Sunday which is a Sea Day
We may be busy on embarkation day exploring the ship and getting settled in plus making reservations

I keep forgetting about our friends over here in DIS. We are so looking forward to cruising with everyone. This cruise is a celebration for my son Dustin's graduation from college. We are a big group cruising.

I am looking forward to the meet n greet. I would like to give my 2 cents in on a meeting time. I think Sunday morning would be a great time. As Saturday everyone is trying to get the feel of the ship and reservations done and kids are beginning to get tired. We will have to be at Muster Drill at 3:20. Then it is Sail Away Party Time. We have sailed on Wonder and Magic and had a hard time getting to meet and with the Fantasy having 2000 more people, it may be crazy.

Plus let me know if you have not signed up for the Mixology class. It is $15.00 per person and a great time. We do still have a few slots open.

I think I looked at one Navigator that said the muster drill was at 4pm. I'm just afraid that once the cruise gets going we'll all be too busy with activities.

We could say 1 hour before the muster drill (in case it changes).

My family will be cruising for our first time. We are very excited. A friend told us about the fish extenders, is there still availablity to join the FE group? I see we are coming in very late in the game. I will make it cruise project number one. We are the Goodson Family. My husband Troy, our daughters Sophia (11) and Simone (8). Sophia loves Snow white and Simone loves Minnie Mouse and Anna (Frozen).

Turns out that we know the Goodsons and will also be on this cruise! Very interested in learning more about how to get involved. Unfortunately this chat board does not allow PM's unless you have at least 10 posts.
