That's a great picture, and I actually see some people I know!

Andrew, are you posting on the 7-18-10 Wonder cruise thread already?;)

We'd love to spend some time before or after in London, but i won't have any extra vacation time. So don't worry Andrew, we won't show up on your doorstep with all of our luggage.

Hey hadnt thought of that, I liked confusing the people on the Wonder 8/17/08 thread!:rotfl: :lmao:

Getting time off work is the issue, but do try to visit our city there is so much to see, if you come all that way its a shame to miss.

What port is everyone looking forward to the most, what do you plan to do?

Probably St Petersburg the most, but they all look great for their own reasons. I have a feeling Tallin is going to be our underrated gem of this cruise, like Cartegena was on our repo. Who would have thought that I would want to go back to Colombia?

Would you stay at the beach at Warnemünde or getting a DCL tour or train to Berlin?
Train to Berlin. Beaches are great, but there's so much history in Berlin, and who knows if we'll get back there.

Do you plan to walk Copenhagen.
Not sure, but we're not against the idea. Tivoli Gardens looks like it has a little something for everyone in the family.

What atracts you to this cruise over the new Med ones with Malta and Tunis?
We'll probably get to those places someday too, but for now, these Baltic ports look great!

Pre and post stay plans? DLP or London, (I will stay in London before and after the cruise!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)
:thumbsup2 Interesting, and I agree I re Tallin is a highlight.

Can someone remind me how to upload photos....my pea sized brain has fogotten :confused3 :confused3

POST #100 3 DAYS BEFORE OFFICIAL BOOKING OPENS WHOO HOOO

OK,

Choose an upload site I use photobucket and upload your pictures there.

Usually thats easy, as you create an album, and click upload and it will take you to 'your pictures' on your laptop, choose the picture you want.

Then when uploaded to photobucket or alike use the <IMG> line and copy and past that into your post or signature line.

Now if still unsure 'quote' this post and look at the following, I will post a picture but on the quote text you will see how I did it.

Has anyone looked up what day July 18th is yet, I know in 2009 it falls on a Saturday so I'm assuming that in 2010 it's a Sunday. If I'm right that would mean it would be quite feasible to organise some kind of pre cruise dinner on the Saurday night either in London or in Dover depending of where most folks were styaing.

I would be more than happy to arrange something nearer the time, once folks have their pre cruise stays booked. Having done this on the night before we sailed on the Med cruise I know it was really nice to meet what was then new friends, can you imagine how much of a blast it would be this time round....... diners of southern England be afriad....be very afraid !!!!

You are correct this cruise starts on a Sunday and ends on the Friday.

Ok it's now 3:50 and there's beenn no washing machine delivery yet..........

You posted it on the REPO thread!!!:lmao: (Only Joking, the Mods do that to me, my posts and threads move all over the place, get edited and changed)

Well this is Lyn gatecrashing our photos in Columbia, My DS Stephen is actually smiling for once, he likes head-teachers, he often spends all of his lunchtimes in their office and quite often after school.

They have a name for it something like detention.

Yes from my Panama canal trip report to the 2010 thread to the July 28th thread, I was stalked and stalked being told to post here! I said I would only do that when I knew I was on the Cruise!

Can we start up the...

POOR JIMMY

If we keep doing the Lynn "shout-outs" she won't be able to resist us. Just book it Lynn!:cheer2:

I have no idea what Andrew is talking about in regards to the stalking....some of us are too busy for that! :teacher:

Well, I'm glad you asked. I've been trying to get a handle on all this..........we actually went to Berlin in March when visiting our daughter in Hamburg, if you haven't been I would highly recommend that visit. It has so much history with which we all grew up. I'm sure we'll be in London the night before the cruise. I would like to spend more time there probably before the trip. We saw a little in May and we did love it. I've been hearing that Tallin is the "diamond" of this cruise. I've always been interested in Scandanavia and I always get students who've been to Moscow so we'll do as much as we can while we're there in Russia (or just stay in St. Petersburg if the distance is too far.) I've been trying to read about other lines who've been to these ports for ideas.

Jo- we will have to plan a pot luck dinner or we will end up eating beans on toast !!!!:scared1::scared1::scared1::scared1::rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2:
I can bring the champagne but someone else has to bring the caviar.....Andy?:goodvibes

im in for happy meals as long as they dont put beans on the big mac!!!!:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl2::rotfl2::lmao::lmao::lmao::lmao:

Well Well Sallie...do you have a "thing" for beans going on here or are you mocking our traditional breakfast fare. BTW what exactly did you do with the tin of very nice Heinz Baked Beans I put in that box for you ???

After the amount of $ I am paying for this cruise, I will only afford a 'happy meal' or beans.

So some Questions......................................

What port is everyone looking forward to the most, what do you plan to do?
Either Tallinn or St Petersburg. Looking forward to seeing the sights.
Would you stay at the beach at Warnemünde or getting a DCL tour or train to Berlin?
Go to Berlin. I don't think we would miss this chance
Do you plan to walk Copenhagen, what atracts you to this cruise over the new Med ones with Malta and Tunis?
As to Copenhagen, it depends. We had an exchange student from Denmark and we will try to get in touch with her.
Pre and post stay plans? DLP or London, (I will stay in London before and after the cruise!!!!!!!!!:rotfl: )Are you offering your flat? :rolleyes1 We will probably forgo DLP and try for an extra day in London, any recommendations? I need to do some genealogy research and get some documents from GRO.
:grouphug: to all
