That's a good thought on keeping all info posts in a central location. I have a lot more of them I can share. I just happened to see this one just before I logged onto here today and thought I would post it to get some wheels turning or else make everyone think I'm bonkers :dance3: .

Thx jilljill, we do appreciate it!!!:worship:

We were so happy when this cruise became available. We were so hoping they would choose the Baltic. Only do you go to choose Finland or Estonia? Which is a better choice? We did the Med. in 2007 and loved it so much. Also where do you fly into to get to Dover?
Thanks
Kay

You fly into London, either Gatwick or Heathrow. The port is about a 2 hour train ride from London or a 2½ hour bus ride with National Express.

We chose this sailing because we liked Tallin. Helsinki was nice, but we enjoyed Tallin more.

Don't know which I'd choose over Finland or Estonia but your flight would be either London, Heathrow or London Gatwick. Both airports have major airlines flying in direct from the US.

Jo- we will have to plan a pot luck dinner or we will end up eating beans on toast !!!!:scared1::scared1::scared1::scared1::rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2:

Even worse - Toads in the hole!!!!!!:scared1:

Thanks for the invite Izzi!!!

OMG, I'm away from the computer for about 8 hours and had to go through 4 PAGES of posts.

Great Pics of you and the family Andrew. My how the kids have grown!

Thanks for the phone call this morning Sallie. Tom gave me the message but neglected to tell you lunch tomorrow is not good because I have an engagement party tomorrow. How could he forget? Just because he's away for a few days...... I'll try to call you tomorrow morning anyway.

Hope your washing machine finally got delivered and is in working order, Izzi. What a great pic of your family and Sallie's!

To answer your questions, Andrew. Tom always wanted to visit Sweden as his maternal grandfather's family was from there. He also always wanted to visit Estonia. He's thrilled that Estonia is on the 18th because he knows that even if it wasn't we'd still be on this cruise because we want to reunite with everyone.

For me, I always wanted to see Russia so seeing St. Petersburg is like a dream come true for me. And to be sharing this with friends makes it even more special.

Once I finally get my pics on my computer from our Baltics trip this past summer I'll post some so everyone can see some of the ports.

Just so I confuse everyone; I will answer to jill on here, but my real name is Barb. My user name came from a cat we had. Yeah I know, confusing.
So you can say I'm confusing :confused3 and bonkers :dance3: .

Thank you for response, yes my kids and in particular DD Alice have grown up quickly and changed a lot, Alice has lost a lot of weight and dads getting worried that she is a young lady now.

Interesting answers to my questions.

Andrew I cant believe how much the kids have grown- Alice really is a young lady !!!!! I am going post a pic of Carley- wait till you see how much she has changed as well!! She also lost some weight- and Im also starting to worry more about the growing up thing!!! It really is true what everyone says- "blink an eye and they're all grown up!" :guilty::guilty: I have such contrasting emotions- so great full and blessed that she is turning out to be such a beautiful, sweet ( depending on the day), intelligent young lady- and so sad that she is growing up !!

Cat. 5 mid ship !! I cant imagine ever being anywhere where I cant get a breath of fresh air when I want . Having the balcony on the med cruise was both calming and exciting as we pulled into the ports at the crack of dawn. I was able to sit out and watch us dock without having to get dressed and leave the room.. However- I do accept the risk of Jimmy accidently pushing me overboard !!!!:rotfl2::rotfl2::upsidedow:upsidedow:upsidedow
