Your weather today sounds like our's yesterday.
We ended up with about 19 inches of snow and today it's 32 degrees.

Got a nice story for you guys out there,

Our mutual friend Simon Cowell, ( we send him over there every so often, and you send him back).

As you might know SC, thinks he controls the UK Television and Pop industry.

He has his TV programme here X-Factor, that is basically American Idol, it has big TV ratings, and each year the shows run up to Christmas, and they try of the No1 Christmas record.

Now he likes to control things so when the BBC put Strictly Come dancing (Dancing with the stars) against it, SC, wasn't happy, how dare they put something up against his show.

But after the winner was chosen on X factor they wanted to get the No 1 Christmas song again, and a Internet Facebook campaign put another records against X factor, in the end they won! Rage against the machine got 510k weekly sales/downloads, to X factor 450k.

People power standing up to SC.

I have been watching our TV pictures of the East coast storms they do look bad, but the coverage is less as we have our own.

Never seen so much 'ice' ; Snow yes, far more, but actual ice everywhere, the main roads are gritted but my roads, are just ice.

Eurostar trains through the tunnel are all stopped, 5 trains broke down on Friday, it seems the cold outside, then the warm tunnel cause issues, so all of thoose kids going to or coming back from Disneyland Paris have a bad start to Christmas.

Show off.... It's 28 here now and it went up to a balmy 32 today, but the wind was horrible.

Just think Monday is the first day of winter. If the last 2 days of fall were like this what's the winter going to be like?!?

My family is almost done doing my shopping for me. It's been fun to be waited on, but I definitely have been going stir crazy. I am able to put weight on my foot, and I am using a cane. Not much pain unless I over do it. I am so glad I had done way before the trip.
If it will make anyone happy, it is not sunny here today. No rain expected, just a cloudy day, high of 68. Brrrrrrr
