I called last week and the CM told me I could get a category 3 guarantee. Then two days later I called back and it was gone. So keep checking.
I think thats when I paid in full

Andrew - did you see the DR Who xmas teaser on Children in Need? For our US friends if you can access our iplayer you may be able to see it, failing that I'm sure it won't be long before some-one gets it onto you tube
Quiet night in as DH has driven eldest DD & niece to the Jonas Brothers at Wembley Arena

I wish it was a good Sunday - wet & windy here. I've also got to sort out Lauren's costume for the xmas play - a tudor lady in waiting. The school kindly provided a sketch of what they want obviously assuming I'm some sort of seamstress (which I'm definitely not) so off to hobby craft to buy some brocade stuff for the bodice! On the up side this time next week I'll be at Gatwick waiting to board the plane to Orlando

Yes we got it about 30 mins ago, I wanted to go out for my Sunday walk and thats delayed. Schools and Girl Guides and scouts are like that, no notice, this is what we want and expect it quickly, and there is parent pressure to ensure your kids are the best, not the worst on display. Its difficult. And notice of funds, school trip France next year, if you want to go pay £250 in a week.
Enjoy Florida.
At least we have notice of the £230 (max) with nothing to pay until January & can then pay in instalments. THis is the only time I can remember being given notice!
Dress is now complete & in the washing machine - not a winner at London fashion week, but will suffice for the play!

One thing I have learnt over the years with kids, do not allocate 'cash' to anything in November or December, as you will be hit with so any can I say 'requests' on your money, school, trips, collections charities, Scouts, Guides, everyone decides now is the time they want your cash.
Guides have DLP in January, and School is gonig there July, DS School gonig to France in July as well.
I know your kids are older, but Lauren has to make do with Wales - assuming it wasn't washed away over the last few days!
