Have required bottle of scrumpy for you - hope you can
a) see only one boat when we arrive in Dover, and
b) make the departure!!

Have you had "real" scrumpy before or just Cider. Personally not keen on cider & scrumpy is just evil! DH is on a hunt for the strongest scrumpy known in the UK just for your consumption & everyone else's amusement!

Celestine

a. I dont have to see the ship to board her er it!

b. What ever do you mean by make the departure?;):scared1:

:scared1: I knew he was up to something thanks for the warning!:thumbsup2

I am starting to get the impression that Paul may be evil! (Does he work for the Inland revenue?;):lmao:):ssst: but I will give it a few days er or afternoons er or nights of drinking before I make my final determination (Barb feel free to chime in)

Truthfully if I can down shots of Mescal (Mexican turpintine) I should be able to handle scrumpy properly chilled! :drinking1:

Thankfully I know I have you to watch out for me Celestine & keep me aprised of your hubby's EVIL Intent!

Where is Andrew this is starting to have Dr. Who overtones!:woohoo:popcorn::

Still getting prepared for the bewitching hour this Saturday night/Sunday morning when we can book our excursions. :dance3::dance3:

Am I off by a day??? I thought it was Sunday night/Monday morning.

I have heard that you are usually off by something!:lmao::rotfl2::rotfl::laughing:popcorn::

Yeah - but that is usually something inconsequential like work or taxes. Being off by a day on shore excursion booking would be horrible! :lmao:

Log into the DCL website and it has a countdown to the cruise, today is 95 days, if you click refresh at 00:00 on the bookig day it will be 90 days.

Best route in the website is LOG IN, >Caastaway club>My cruises> current cruise reference number, you hit that landing page that shows the days to the cruise. Hit>My cruise plans at 00:00. Internet time Eastern.

Robert how wrong can you be....Celestine is the evil one, as she is in fact a dreaded.... sorry I mean friendly HMRC worker (Inland Revenue does not exist anymore) so tax and customs is her forte. Don't call her evil or it may be rubber glove time on your arrival in Blighty:eek:

Looking forward to sinking (bad word selection), downing (not much better) a few beers or JD's onboard although you can keep the tequila, last time I had a night on them I missed the lemon and found the floor:scared1:

By the way, I cannot believe she mentioned missed departure to you of all people:rolleyes1 trust me, we will not miss the boat.

No rotgut  remeber we have the whole cruise to drink some bad stuff from the Baltics!:3dglasses:dance3:

Good Morning back at yah!.
I just got off the phone with the London Eye and Porter's so we are all set up for July 16th as well. 3:45PM cruise and 5PM flight, 6:30Pm dinner at Porters with a souvenir cookbook to start the trip off with :woohoo:

Still getting prepared for the bewitching hour this Saturday night/Sunday morning when we can book our excursions. :dance3::dance3: The DH and I were talking last night about StP and wondered.... if everybody needs a visa of some sort to get off the ship, what do the DCL crew members do? You know how crew always goes into town to stock up and make phone calls etc., so we were wondering how or if they're allowed to go ashore. :rolleyes2

We are hoping to go and visit relatives that live by the southwest coast of Britain on Saturday. Need to get in touch with them and see if that will work out for them. :goodvibes If not, then I'll have to figure out a plan for Saturday.

Have a great day!

Sandy

Am I off by a day??? I thought it was Sunday night/Monday morning.

Sandy, I'm also sure it's Sun nite/Mon. morning.

It is, isn't it?????????

You are right....:cool1: 24 more hours to plan :surfweb:, and the privilege of going to work on Monday morning looking like heck :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: And do you think my DH will be sitting by my side holding my hand at midnight?:laughing: I think not! He'll be sound asleep! :cloud9:

Oh well :headache::headache:. I shall reset my alarm reminder and be raring to go on Sunday night. :rolleyes1. Thanks for catching that otherwise I would have been sitting at my computer Saturday wondering what was going on. :upsidedow.

Sandy

Andrew or Celestine,
Can you tell me if it's possible to get from London out to Milford on Sea, Hampshire by train? That is where my relatives live and we would like to pay them a visit on Saturday if possible. It sounds like a pretty area of the country as well.:goodvibes. :flower3: :laundy:

If they are available to have us come for a visit, that will take care of our sightseeing for Saturday. :cheer2::cheer2:

Sandy

Robert why in the world would you think that I would chime in on your drinking excursions?!? :drinking1 :rolleyes1 :rotfl: :confused3 :drinking1 BTW...have a drink for me while watching Wishes from the BLT lounge. :drinking1

The nearest station I believe is New Milton about 2 hours from London Waterloo Station (with one change) so pretty easy. Put a search in on the following web site and you will be able to check times and prices etc...

Any problems let us know

Paul (Celestine DH) :thumbsup2
