Thanks Andrew. I can see the dining rooms are going to be pretty empty on Warnemunde day, especially first seating.

Maybe Robert's been stuck at the gym under some weights since yesterday morning. :rotfl2: :confused3 :lmao: :rolleyes1 :rotfl:

Ill stick U under some weights deary!:headache::mad:

I did notice you weren't getting direct answers from them.
No clue why someone would say they wouldn't have Palo open on StP nights, not everyone will leave the ship in the evenings there.
I still can't believe they want to keep dining times the same in Warnemunde. Wonder if that will be tweaked closer we get to sailing as more people inquire about dining times and options. :confused3

Yes, someone did post after me re Palo dinners, and said I was wrong and it wasn't on on StP, nights??? Which didn't make sense, maybe wasn't loaded onto the system it was a couple of weeks back. Anyway thought i would confirm.

DCL is very good about 'only' answering 'directly' what you ask them ie, the will not impart more information which might be related, to it, ie if you have a Suite, why answer about what happens at dinner if late. I think what I should say they are selective and hence thats why people get different impressions on these boards. (Tipping tickets comes to mind,They reassure you to your personal requirements, so people have had different answers).

I started a thread up on the main board where are you??

Moderators closed it down!!!

I was just looking at my paid confirmation's (which I asked my TA to provide when I paid of the Barcelona Repo) whilst thinking about what night for Palo & just noticed that my DCL confirmation dated 2/22/2010 has us getting into STP @ 11:30AM again?

What is up with DCL?:confused3:confused:

Maybe an old one, if you are using the same TA as me they have sent the earlier one to me as well when making payments, I understand its 12.30pm.

Concierge will confirm you are PIF.

If your ship is getting in earlier than I want to be on that ship.

I wonder if they really have a clue!:lmao: I had the TA confirm that I owed nothing on anything & they were all dated 2/22/2010!

Knowing you Barb you will miss the boat!;):lmao:

Hey if you have a suite concierge can always ad & or change ressie's when you get on the ship at the reception. We can even get multiple Palo ressie's I have in the past.

However that being said my DW has stated emphatically that only one Palo Dinner & one Palo Brunch per cruise as we do have B2B cruises!:rotfl:

Oh es they do have A clue, they have a big ship and can point it in a general direction and see when they hit land, Columbus, for example had the same principle and had A Clue where he was going.

I won't be missing the boat or the ship or any other vessel that takes me on vacation. :thumbsup2

Now I'm most upset, just found out my DD's school is doing their spring break the week before Easter next year. :headache: I guess I need to change our Dream ressie for the week earlier. :headache: :headache:

And look at all the trouble he caused!:3dglasses

Hey How about China? I heard that they are buying Australia?:scared1:

Pretty soon they will own us all!:rolleyes1

Oh Bother & consternations! :lmao:

Well, I have been ignoring the writing on the wall for a while, but due to a combination of factors ranging from...
- finances (has not been a great year - not really hurting, but not a whole lot for luxuries)
- to value (gosh, this trip is expensive! - and I've already been to all but two of the destinations)
- to competition (turns out there are other interesting places I'd like to see this summer, and a surprise opportunity to go to Tokyo came up as well)

it looks like I will be cancelling our reservation - or rather moving it to the Wonder canal crossing (most likely).

But I write here not just to say goodbye, but to give you a bit of a heads up. You see, the cabin we are holding is 5524 - one of the secret porthole rooms. So in the event that any of you were looking to try to grab one, it will become available sometime tomorrow afternoon pacific time.

I may stop in now and then to check in, but otherwise I wish you all a spectacular journey.

Dan

Well Germany wanted to buy a few Greek islands to ''help'' them out.

Very sorry Dan, all the best.

Sorry to hear that Dan. Since you are going to Tokyo, stop back and tell us about Tokyo D'land if you get a chance to go there.
Stop in and say hi every now and then as well.

I might be interested in your cabin, #5524. Our son and his family are in 5504. We wanted to be near them and got 7502 :sad2:

DH not sure he wants to give up Cat 8 for Cat 10 ? Is the room size the same or ?

And if we did want this 5524, how do we go about getting it ??

Thanks, Dan for the heads up ! Hope you fine a fun vacation. BTW, we lived outside Tokyo for 3 years and loved it ! Talk about culture shock !

What did I do to you today to get picked on so much?!? :confused3 Oh yeah, it must have been to gym comment. :rotfl2:

No nuclear vessels for me, that doesn't sound like vacation.

The only good thing about having to change our Dream ressie is that we can get a verandah cabin cheaper than our oceanview that's already booked. :woohoo: I guess I'll have to suffer and take that. But many other people must have found out the same info, as there are many sold out categories and some that are only a GTY status. :headache:
I'll see what the TA can get for us.

The cabins are the exact same size. The cat. 10 that he's giving up is a 'secret porthole' cabin that has a porthole with an obstructed view. You can see pics of the cabin in the FAQ sticky on the main board under staterooms.
Here are the SPH cabins in case you want to check to see if any of them open up for you and your son: 5020, 5022, 5024, 5520, 5522 and 5524.
