Well my second choice got it, the funny thing is I said Alaska on this thread last December in an answer to Disneynut, then on the ship recently they nearly all said Hawaii, some said Alaska,

The funny thing is my own headserver told me the Magic was going back to Europe in 2011 for all the summer and I said it wasnt!!!!

I thought he got it all wrong with then going back to Europe in 2012!!!!

You were saying Alaska even when DCL pulled the Glacier Bay permit -- said they could go without it:)

So are you planning to go to Alaska? I know you weren't thrilled with the idea of Hawaii . . .

Wow, Andrew, I was just reading the new itineraries thread on the main board -- people are being so nasty to you!:sad2::confused3

I know thanks for rembering that I have posted that a lot, saying they could still go there, I think they did a deal with Princess or someone, DCL Publically pulling out, saying not going there!

But I would not cruise Hawaii, I hate the place, and I mean that, didnt enjoy it when I was there, (sorry if anyone lives there do not intend to upset, imho only), the main tourist area was a concreate jungle.

Alaska I thought about it for 5 mins! And NO!

Watch this space!!!!!

PS A few on the main board are enjoying that I didnt get it 100% correct, let them have their moments of joy! I still predicted a heck of a lot right!

Hmmm - so are you doing the Dream instead?????

Yep, you try to help and you get abuse, ones offered me a stuffed animal!!!

Nice!!!

I was actually kind of shocked -- really mean spirited . . .

Is it September or October 28 that us mere mortals (1 stupid cruise short of the early window) can book these for?

I am still hoping for a (LONG) Disney Dream's cruise over the Holiday's the end of December 2011!:thumbsup2

My wife is not interested in Alaska at all If I do not do the Med after the Repo this summer I would consider it for 2011!:sad2:

However the 14 day NCL cruise out of Venice is calling me (I love the Itinerary!):cloud9:

My real quandry is what to do for the 2011 XMAS break long 11 day magic or short cruise on the dream?:headache::3dglasses:

As it looks now neither of the long cruises would work for my childrens school schedules!:headache:

That would leave a shorter Disney Dreams Cruise or Back to Back Disney Dreams?:headache:

That is a terrific itinerary!:thumbsup2 I am pretty sure they announced today that the 2011 Med cruises are the same as 2010 - Barcelona, Tunis, Malta, Naples, Civitivecchia, La Spezia, Ajaccio, Villefranche, Barcelona.

Unfortunately if those are the dates it will be the Disney Dream's for me!:sad2:popcorn::

I know - right away I knew neither of those would work with my kids' school schedule . . . I wonder how many families with children can work those dates?

Alaska. It's definately on our "bucket list". Not sure if I want to do another cool place the summer after the Baltic. I think I'll be yearning for some warm sunshine. DH says we'll look into it. We may do an ABD instead. Wonder how many points it will be? That may help with our decision. I'm also guessing that, with the Wonder on the west coast, this may be something they'll be doing pretty regularly, just like they are doing with the Magic and the Med. Not sure if I want to do it this time, or wait and gamble that they'll be doing it again.

It's nice to see they are going to great places, though.

I would guess it will depend on how popular Alaska is on whether or not it will be happening again in 2012 or if they will do something else then *cough Hawaii cough* (to tie into the new resort opening down there.)

We are planning on doing one of the late July Alaska trips probably.

I've already told my TA what I want for the Alaskan cruises - the chill factor doesn't bother me in the least! I'm most excited about all the wildlife that can be viewed in a natural environment:goodvibes But I do believe you will have another chance to do Alaska on DCL if you and Tom don't decide to book next summer, MaryAnn.:)

I agree with you - I think they will work out Hawaii by the next year and then switch off those when not doing the Mexican Riviera - or even do Hawaii during the cooler months and Alaska during the warmer ones. . .
