just a quick stop by to say hello to everyone and to hope all you Ballyhooer's are well.

As an update: Josh's barmitzvah was wonderful. He did so well and the party weekend was everythng we wished for. Ethan has started senior school and other than that we're just keeping our head down and plowing on.

I'm really sorry that we won't be joining you on the cruise but finances just won't allow it.

I'm also getting sick of all the whiners/complainers on the main boards. There are some that are never happy when someone is correct, when changes don't go their way, blah....blah....blah.... I just want to reach out and virtual slap them and tell them to get over it and roll with the changes. I've written many posts and then came to my senses and didn't post them since most of them weren't very nice towards some of the people.

It's nice to see that Andrew popped in here to say 'hi' to us.

Even if I wasn't I would say the same thing. That's why it's called a loyality program. BTW...I thought you would be gold, how many DCL cruises have you been on?

NOT ENOUGH!!!!

If they counted suites as double I would be!

However after the Baltic I will be GOLD However if they COUNTED SUITES as 2X. I would be Platinum after the Baltic!!!!!

Don't let them get to you. They are just jealous that you are almost always right. Even when you don't get it exactly right, we appreciate your thoughts. There is no pleasing some people. The DIS should be a place for friends to chat without having to worry about egos getting in the way. You are welcome to be on this thread anytime. Don't let sour pusses ruin your DIS fun.

I think we'll be Gold after the Baltic. Am I happy that a person who cruised the Wonder, once, is the same status as me, no. But am I crushed and angry, no way. Life is too short to get upset over things like that. Some people are not happy unless they are upset over something. We have such a good time here, I am so thankful that our thread is full of such wonderful people.

OMG....you almost made me spit tea all over my computer.
I have a feeling the head of DCL may live across the road from us in FL. There's a street across from us that houses Disney execs and since they have a Private Road sign posted on the fence we haven't had the nerve to venture over there and look around. Besides I have a yellow Land Rover down there, not likely that I'll blend in with the ones who live there.

kid is at alumni night at hs - anyone from marching band can march up to field and peform with the band at 1/2 - they even have their own special alumni song /dance that they do - Long Train - Kara has been waiting 4 years to do it - of course I still remember parts of it, so was showing her some of the other night

I sort of thought number of days would make a bit more sense than number of cruises - but I suspect I'd have ended up Gold either way. Platinum is probably some time away though...

So glad the Bar Mitzvah went well. I'm very confident that I'll win the lottery between now and the due date on this cruise....

I wish they had pricing on the 2011 cruises - that would make things easier to figure.
