Excuses, excuses........seriously, it was really fun to meet Barb and reunite with Julie, Tom and Maryann..........anytime you can make one of these DISmeets, definitely "just do it." Andrew..........you can help the econonmy for all of us, when you book this type of trip. Also, I think the global warming is much better this winter!................thx to Maryann for the great pics!! Thx to Julie for the great pizza idea!! It was great meeting Barb and her DD!!! Tara surprised us and joined us at the last minute.........

I loved walking up 5th with everyone and showing the NYers where the Disney Store and Trump Tower are :rotfl: we bought Starbucks :thumbsup2 (of course.) Missed you Julie and Barb during this part. After we split up, Ken & I saw "39 Steps" (which was well-acted but we didn't love it) and "Billy Elliot"(which was fantastic!!) today.:woohoo: Tara came back and brought her BF and thx to Barb's recommendation, Juniors for dinner tonight! Sorry to hear of your twisted ankle, Barb.......

:grouphug: Hopefully you enjoyed Junior's? We had to stop back there and pick up 3 cheesecakes, danishes and some black & white cookies to bring home.

The foot/ankle is starting to feel better.

No school here either, which should come as no surprise to others in the area.
It's still snowing and blowing very hard now. Our screen porch has about 1½ inches of snow in it. :confused3

But I have to ask....how do they tint eyelashes and what color did you get?

We have about 6 inches and it's supposed to stop for a little bit this afternoon and then pick up again this evening. :cold:
I'll take what we have over what you have any day. But would prefer to not have any at all and would much rather be at the :beach:

We're about 2 hours away from each other by car, so it's a pretty big storm, especially if Robert is also off.......he's about 6 hours by car north of me.

Juniors was really good, it's right in the middle of the Theatre District and we've never eaten there. It's like a diner, I would say, we really liked and did get the black & white cookie and the cheesecake. I had some and sent the rest home with Tara and her BF.:goodvibes

10 pages to our next thread.........predictions? When do you think we'll hit 250?:surfweb:

That Junior's location has only been open about 3 or 4 years.

But I have to ask....how do they tint eyelashes and what color did you get?

I get my lashes tinted blue/black which is a very dark colour. That way I don't have to use mascara which is good for me as I really can't be bothered with makeup at 5:30 in the morning so this way it's just a swipe with the lippy and I'm done.

They do it whilst I have my eyes closed, then they put a flat cotton swab under my lower lashes so I don't get colour on my cheek and then brushing the dye on the upper lash and leaving it for 15 mins. They then wipe the excess away and "hey presto" eye lashes you can see without loads of effort :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:
