I think sounding like a seal is definately a step or 2 up from sounding like a goose. :upsidedow Sorry to hear you are running thru the zoo animals before you sound normal. :flower3:

 Hopefully I won't go through all the animals at the zoo!

OK Greeting for the next 24 hours.

Good day mate!

G'day mate,

G'day mates!..........How you doing???:)

DIS CLOCK 45 MINS WRONG!!!!

Yes, I was wondering how you manage without a fenced yard;)

This past week especially our dog has been barking a lot and the only thing that seems to help is taking her out:confused3
She has been on antibiotics for some cuts she got in a dog fight and now that we are done with the antibiotics I'm hoping that she feels better and will settle down.
We expected 3 walks a day to be necessary for her, but she has been driving us crazy always wanting to go out. I was hoping the yard fenced would help:confused3

How do you manage with 2 dogs ???

I walk them separately -- twice a day for Linus and three times for Belle (smaller bladder:) ) -- whenever I can I try to take them to the (fenced in) dog run in the park to go off leash but that is more likely to be on weekends or holidays. It's what they are used to, so they seem fine, although when they get to go on vacation to Cape Cod and catch balls thrown into the ocean,or to Connecticut as we did last weekend and run in a huge field off leash, they must wonder why we come back here!:rotfl2:

No white picket fences around your apartment? :confused3 :rotfl:

Definitely not!:goodvibes

i have chain link - it was here when I moved in 1984 - have painted it once

My mom has wood (1972) and it has been replaced in parts and another good size section needs to be replaced now

good luck with your decision

Been looking at hotels in London for pre stay what I want to do is several days in London, then over to Dover the morning of cruise and after wards thinking of Disneyland Paris and Paris - depends on what I can find in pricing for this year to budget for next year

Suggestions on traveling between Dover - Paris/Disneyland Paris?

I would say Train from Charing Cross or Victoria in London, and maybe locate your hotel in London in those areas to assist you, small taxi ride from Dover Priory station.

You may have a non Eurostar service from St Pancrus to Ashford international by then, operating with new trains, you cannot use Eurostar to get on in London and off in Kent on the international trains.

DLP is best by EUROSTAR train from Ashford international and book the direct train to Marne La Vallie Chessey station (not Paris-as thats 45 mins by metro).

What's this? An actual cruise question? Anyway, are you saying, Andrew, that if we stay in London, it's just a small taxi ride to Dover or just to the station that takes you to Dover?:confused3

From the train station in Dover to the port is a short taxi ride . . . not from London (actual cruise related answer;) )

Hi folks:flower3:
I need some advice. We need to fence in our back yard as the dog is not happy with just 3 walks a day:sad2:
Now our back yard is already 3/4 fenced in as all our neighbors have their yards fenced. We just need to attach their fences to our house (about 20 feet on each side).
I thought this would be a minor expense, but a guy from a local company came yesterday and gave us an estimate of approx. $1,200:scared1:
Is this a fair price ? All of our neighbors moved into their houses with their backyards already fenced in, so they can't give us an idea of what the cost would be:confused3
Just seems like a lot of money to me for such a short length of fence:headache:
Darren is talking about trying to do it himself, but while he is somewhat handy with a hammer, he has never done anything like this before.

Anyone have any info on yard fences and costs and how hard it is to do it yourself ?

Fences are a fact of live here in CA. They just always seem to be there. The one time the Santa Ana's blew down part of our wood fence, the neighbor shared the expense and for 40 ft. our share was $1300.

Its a short taxi ride from Dover priory Stn to the port, may have a shuttle on the day, from London is more like 120 miles.

Just checking my 'mile-monitor' and this should be 23,000, slowed down a lot recently, not posting on the main forum and DD nick's the laptop connection for long times.
